sorry to say, but AoC pop is going down too, i wish it wasnt, i wish funcom didnt screw up, the combat system is, indeed, amazing and pretty innovative, but they are screwing up pvp and at max level everyone can one or 2 hit each other...it's kinda pointless atm, it has potential, but i would really like to see a full loot, ffa pvp server, that would make me come back

edit: btw, i dont like WoW either lol

yeah, guess it just a UO Emulator playing old UO and waiting for darkfall then.

played eve for awhile,dont play it anymore due to boredom of the system and such.

I believe they have opened up other developers eyes, and made them realise they can't release unpolished garbage and get away with it.

I don't look at paying 50 dollars for AoC as a rip off anymore. I look at it like an investment in the future of mmo's.

Warhammer cutting cities and classes is a prime example. They saw the backlash FC got from it's customers and realised they need to release the content when it is polished.

not really, this has been done many times before (e.g SWG NGE, Tabula Rasa,  DnD Online, Vanguard, Hellgate: London,  Pirates of the Burning Sea, and many, many more) you think someone would have taken a hint by now...

show her the games you already play, see if she likes them...swg will burn your relationship in the ground faster then the sun would, GW is free to play so no double ammount of cash to pay for it...you can cyber more realistically when your wife, or yourself, is away in AoC (tits...) but might be a bit gorey for your wife, would have to meet your wife, honestly, ive seen chicks play AoC, EQ, EQII, UO, EVE, WoW, SWG, etc etc etc

yo, im looking for a mmo that has like FFA PvP, i want to be able to grief and be griefed. anyone know of any games like this?...think how AoC pvp system was at launch, that would be awesome.

i would, simply because i liked that itteration of the game more then i currently do however i do still like the game

some people dont like SOE anymore, period, so they wont come back...

finally, it wont happen until SOE grows some balls, if they release pre-cu and they get a ton more subs then someone is gonna have to answer to LA or Smed about why they decided to release the nge.

i'd avoid planetside, games getting very dated and, last i hear, is on its way out

could try salvaging wrecks from large pvp battles, but people dont usually like that haha

and even then, i hope he isnt referring to ships that are meant to go fast (e.g frigs, EA ships, ceptors, some cruisers) and just the ships that arent meant to be nano'd

i thought koster was working on the new lucas arts/bioware mmo =S

as long as the game stays at the usual 25k-30k people on during primetime (other times you will almost always see the server pop at about 20k, give or take) then it is all good

I have an 8800GT, 4gigs of ram, and I'm running at about 15 fps, which is unplayable for me in a pvp situation... Guess I'm going to wait for WAR, or a few months for them to get this in a semi legitmate state.

as stated before, what kinda of power supply (wattage, amps, and brand) and processor do you have?

coming back for the factional warfare thing, was wondering what would be the best race to choose to fight for (amarr, caldari, gallente, or minmatar)?

upgrading to a core 2 duo and getting a motherboard that can support core 2 duos shouldnt be too expensive go to newegg.com  and look around, it is usually good to sort by rating and then by price if rating doesnt help, usually you can tell if the product is good if it has a lot of reviews and a 5 star rating
