there is only 2 servers left actually, 1 US 1 EU. PVE is as dead as its been since the begining but PVP is still decent. Scenarios still take forever to pop but the lakes are populated at certain times of day. I recently came back aswell about 3 weeks ago. I still really enjoy the game but ive played the warhammer tabletop game for many years and i think the warhammer world as a whole is unmatched, so im a bit of a fanboi and im able to see past the bugs and poor balancing. 

Hello all im wanting to return to WAR because i always had a good time playing it and even thou it can be viewed as a complete fail the game was enjoyable. So can someone tell me how the population is on badlands?

Like my post says i am returning to EQ and Im stuck on server choice. My home server was terris thule which is called rathe now I belive. I want to return to a populated server and before the game went FTP I was told that the most populated was fippy. Is this still the case or has rathe recived a huge population boom aswell. If there is a definite most populated server i would like to know the name of it. thanks

I myself have been wanting to give this game a try aswell. I was also an old school EQ player except i was an iksar necro. The low pop is what has kept me away for the most part and i really think this game would benefit from the free to play love SOE is handing out to every other game it has nowadays

thats good to hear. I always enjoyed the game but like very other MMORPG player with ADD i do game hop quiet a bit and now it is time to return to AoC.

it has been a while since I have played and I have a few questions. How populated is tyranny now? when I last played it was the most populated server. I have been told that the past few patches have done all kinds of havoc to stability from BSOD to memory leaks to loading screens taking twice as long as they used to. Has this been fixed for the most part? I would ask these on the AoC forums but they are not visited nearly as often as MMORPG forums.

Hello all I come here asking for advice on my next MMORPG. Ive been playing MMOs for many years starting with EQ back in 1999. My original Idea was to go back to AOC but failcom has really done a number on that game so ive given up that idea. I wont play WoW since ive seen what seems to be the new talent tree for the classes I play and they have a very heavy focus on PVP and I prefer to PVE with a slight touch of PVP if I so choose. I played LOTRO and enjoyed it but after a few months I got bored. I played rift for about a month aswell until all my friends quit and it started taking a long time to find a group. I also player WAR for a few months and I really enjoyed it I even thought the PVP was fun. I have tried asherons call and I just couldnt get into it. I have also played EQ2 and I did enjoy it im told that the game has become pretty empty since the last expansion which does not suprise me with SOES track record. Im willing to give any of theses games another try aswell if someone can give me a good view on the current state of the game.  Please no one suggest for me to wait for archeage or GW2 since those are both fairly far off and I do have an MMO addiction. I thank you all and eagerly await yur responses.

I played about 5 years ago and I remember reading that they had updated the graphics for character models since Luclin.  I went back to the game about a year ago and couldnt find the character models other then the luclin ones. I want to return to the game since im tired of the WoW servers being down during the only time I can play and especially mad since the games been broken for 2 days now WTG blizz. Did the new character models never happen or did I just miss the box I needed to check in options.

Im tempted to play this game but I know most asian grinder games have some form of game guard. I do not wish to put any of those programs on my computer. So my question is does this game use any form of that program?

I DLed the trial of the game and when I got to create a character the only races I could be were fairys. It said that an iksar could not be my first character. The only race I liked in the first game was an iksar and I planned to create one in this game. Is this limitation purely because its the trial or is this how the real game is. If I have to lvl up a fairy before I can be the race I want to play as then Sony can keep their damn game. I would also like to know which server has a decent population. All the servers had a light load. I felt like I was playing SWG when I saw how many ppl the server said were playing.
