This isn't what the OP is saying.

 

The OP is trying to play his characters in a way that isn't really viable for cataclysm's dungeons/heroics, especially for a healer who is trying to progress through content without being carried by geared and experienced friends. He isn't complaining that healing is no fun because it's hard, he's complaining that healing is no fun because the game isn't letting him play his character the way he wants to (aka mixing his focus between DPSing and healing like he could at lower levels).

Ironically you actually can in Rift.

GA was going to get paid expanions. With warzones and such 50v50, more open PvE zones. But it would require too much work to transform GA that they couldn't do it and so they bought Tribes Franchise and are going to make a Tribes mmo.

GA will still receive content updates. Even if they would've changed GA it wouldn't have been for free, but a paid expansion. Now stop being so fucking paranoid. GA and Tribes will both be different games each it's own style and each it's own group of people working on it and pushing out content.

So no you didn't see what hirez did there.

Good review, been playing this game since day one of beta (about a year now). And I still enjoy it and play it every day.
