Top Bugs they need to address, Otherwise I fear a flop

I don't fear a flop with this. The game just so much potential and is so much fun to play as it is, even with the bugs.
But yes, its getting better by the day. They are working on it, with huge patches coming out every day. |

Originally posted by Nikoz78 When I say max settings, this means I also have anisotropic filter on at 16x 16x AF just looks so much better to me, but this is just me, of course But, sure, as you say you can lower a few settings and still get good picture quality with older or lower end cards. As for the 2Gb, if you want high quality textures without hitching and stuttering.... I should have worded it : "If you want to play this game at max settings". |

Want to know how lame Vanguard is? Theres a bug that makes certain classes god in pvp.

This was a known exploit. GM's have posted about this ingame.
You can post whatever you want after release, but for now, IMHO such a troll as you should never have been accepted into BETA. Do you even realize what a beta is, and why you where invited (and this has nothing to do with beta closing in 24 hours) ? Grow up and move on. |

You need to change your 6800 for at least a 7900 or an ati x1900xt (with 512 mb) (many say it works better with ati at the moment). If you add this to your rig you will run the game at max settings.

If you want to play this game you absolutely need to do 2 things:
1st: get 1 more Gb ram, you definitely need 2 Gb. This is a "must". 2nd: upgrade your gfx card. Get at least an ATI x1900xt, or an nvidia 7900 (as per beta forum posts it seems to work better on ati at the moment). Take the 512 Mb ram version, not the 256 (you need this for the high quality textures). With your CPU, an x1900xt and 2 gb ram you will run the game at max settings. As was already said previously, the game has seen huge improvements in the past weeks. Characters animations are completely different today. |

Originally posted by Farseen Yes, yes yes... ...yes you can change into animals, you can also have many pets (wolves, dragons, ...), yes you can have mounts, many different mounts (horses, dragons, gryffons, etc...) You can fly freely, everywhere you want to go... As I said, yes to all of your questions. I have not crafted a boat myself, but seen other players with boats. You can also have your own house on your own land plot, and many more things :) |

I have not played SWG, but other than that, YES to ALL your questions.
Sry, don't have any screenshots at hand. |

Everquest 2 had the same problem.
6 months ago when I started playing EQ2 almost no one was able to play at max settings (people were frustrated on all the forums). Today its fine; this was 6 months ago ... when was EQ2 released ? |
