Nice show of sympathy for someone you're supposed to love.   I can't imagine why she wouldn't want to have sex with such a prince.  It's no wonder she's depressed.

I treat my Wife like the Desert needs the Rain ..Still married over 20 years and first wife and in our 40s...

My husband treats me the same. If I wanted a nightlight, for whatever reason, he wouldn't mock me. He'd go out and buy the nicest nightlight he could find. We've been married 15 years and I can't even imagine being without him.  We rarely even argue, let alone fight. We still have wonderful conversations and have never run out of things to do or discuss.  I can't understand why anyone would want to live with a person who would treat them as mean spirited as the OP treated his wife.

Oh and thick Pizza crust is blasphemy, unless it is Sicilian. New Yorker all the way.

Hey!  We may not agree on trivial things, like politics and religion, but we agree on the serious and important stuff - PIZZA!

How could the war on drugs be bad? Or are you another anarchist...

Only an anarchist could like the war on drugs, because that is all it creates.

I don't get it.  Am I missing something?  I'd assume  the opposite would be true.  While I also think the "war on drugs" is as useless and silly as it is expensive, I should think an anarchist would also be opposed to it.  Same deal with Libertarians, no?   I'm falling into your sarchasm, aren't I?  :o

Edited because I somehow stuck a strange word in the middle of all that!  eek!

That's just totally over the top.  I simply wouldn't do it.  I'd sell them on eBay or some other way if I had to.  I won't give my phone number at shops (had to leave a Radio Shack empty handed before) or allow my social security number to be used as any sort of ID, either.  It's not even legal for them to ask, I believe.   I just think these rules are unnecessary and the information can be abused.  What's next?

Wow, I've seen people say all that's needed in one word but Teala got it in one letter!  Good work!

I'd agree with LOTRO but I'm not so sure about Vanguard as far as community goes.  The people who play might be nice but from what I've heard, there's not very many of them.  I only played it in beta and, personally, it was so bad that I almost lost the will to live.  ;p   And Ryzom?  There's probably even less people playing.  I suppose it depends on whether you want any sort of thriving population or just friendly faces.

I can't really recommend EQ2.  I played when it first came out and didn't like it at all.  I tried after they made all those big changes and it was much better but nowhere near as good as LOTRO.  I found it pretty uninspired, for the most part.  As for Aion - I can't imagine anyone playing it for the PVE.  The PVP is definitely where the focus went, in my opinion.

Scott Jennings (Lum the Mad) wrote one of those Dummy books.  "Massively Multiplayer Games  for Dummies".  It was several years ago, though.  You can still get it on Amazon.

I say wear whatever the hell you want.  I wear steel-toe boots, blue jeans and a white T-shirt every day.  I've been compared to a cartoon character in the sense that the outfit never changes.  It's been such a mild form of amusement that the folks at the local Denny's I haunt have taken to calling me "T-Shirt" or "White-T."  See, I even get a personalized piece of pie.

Fashion is for people without charisma.

That's a pretty broad statement about fashion being for people without charisma. In fact, I would say that the most energetic people I know wear the most outrageous things. Also, I know a lot of people who keep up with fashion and are very social and have great characters. I'm not quite sure were you make your assumption from.

But he does it for PIE!

Congratulations now you don't have to risk your life and kill other human beings to make rich people more rich.

Yes! now he can walk around as a civilian, not risking his life (supposedly), and have even a higher chance of being killed by other human beings, so much better! amirite?!

Not to mention somebody still probably getting rich in the process!

I've tried to read this from every angle and I just don't understand.  Can you explain what it means?  (I'm not trying to be snarky or anything, btw)

Not very many games where you can play a fat girl.  I'd love to play one more often.  Fat bottomed girls make the rockiin' world go round, you know!

Maybe I'm not understanding, but according to that article he makes over $3,000,000 a year in salary alone and even more than that in other income.  They were married 26 years and have a child.  If he was the main support for the family, how is it not fair?  He's not even contesting it.  And I don't understand what any of it has to do with women running for office?  If the woman was the main support, who's to say the judge (who was a man, by the way) wouldn't have ruled the same way?

Whatever you get him, try and go for a rescue dog.  You'll be surprised how fantastic you'll feel when you give a needy pet a home.

Yeah those were some helpful comments..

The only thing I can think of that is similar to Wizard101 is Free Realms.

That's the only other cutesy one I've played, too.  Well, a wee bit of Toontown ages ago.  Have you looked into Fusionfall?  It's the one from Cartoon Network but I know nothing about it, other than the name.  Here's a site that might help:

Sorry, Riki, that's sad.  I've lost pets in the past, too.  I have two kitties right now and I would be heartbroken if anything happened to them.  It's true about finding out whether or not you grandfather is ready for another pet, though.  Sometimes you need a bit of time to get over things and adjust to the loss.

lol @ smokers

what an absolutely ridiculous habit.    Just out of curiousity, does anyone know anybody who picked up smoking past the age of 25?  Like for the first time, not someone who quit and came back, but specifically picked up smoking past the age of 25.

I know one person who did this.   A woman I worked with started going out with a man who smoked and picked up the habit.  She was well past 30.  I couldn't believe it.  I started smoking when I was kind of young and gave it up some years ago.  Quitting tobacco was horribly hard and painful  for me.  I swear that nicotine must be the most addictive substance in the world.  I think giving up heroin might be easier!  It's not the threat of illness that keeps me from smoking again - it's the horror of quitting!

I'm not at the moment (except with my husband) but I have in the past.  It's really great fun to play with personal friends.  I've also been playing MMOs with the same guild for about six years or so.

Is this a trick to try and get us to read your blog?  No thanks!

Are the two of you married to each other?  This good-bye thread has become bizarre.

Wax on, wax off. Wax on, wax off. Rest, repeat. Grinding and downtime. They are the lessons that teach very valuable lessons. Risk versus reward. All of these things promote a wholeness of game understanding, forcing the gamer to become a better gamer, and in many cases, a better person in-game as well. Community is undeniably something that forms around downtime. Knowledge of game is undeniably something that forms around grinding. Put them together and what do you get? Captain Planet! (sorry, I don't know why I found that funny)

Current titles want to offer gamers more and more opportunity with less and less hassle. That hassle needs to be experienced. 'Necessary evils' I do believe they are called. 5:1 activity:downtime wouldn't be a bad ratio to work with, just to throw some numbers out there. Players need to learn the way results are achieved, rather than being spoon-fed with results.

Why?  Just wondering.  I've been playing online games pretty much since there were online games, and I don't see the point - unless you want to game that way.  They're games, not life lessons that you can only learn  by suffering through the "bad" stuff.  Not that I think those things were necessarily bad.  They were fun at the time, although sometimes frustrating.  It's just that if you don't want to bother with them, you don't have to anymore.  I don't need games to teach me lessons and I don't have to play the bits that are a hassle to appreciate them.  Games are improving and evolving, in my opinion, and the less down time, the better.  If you want the grindy bits, they still exist in games.  Sorry, no offense, but I just can't wrap my head around your point.  (err... I don't mean that in a pervy way!  )
