I like Sorvath's suggestion.  Become a medical experiment.

I would pay extra for a server where, should you be put on "x" number of ignore lists, you would be booted to a regular server and unable to rejoin the mature server for 2 years.

Age is not a determining factor in maturity but you can somewhat base it off of ignore listings.

That sounds as if it would be awfully easy to use as a griefing mechanism.  People would be putting each other on ignore lists just for a laugh.  (because people are mean!)  It probably wouldn't get much of a population, either.  Some how I don't think servers with special rules based on age would be very popular.  I wouldn't play on a server like that and I don't think it's a particularly good idea, but as long as it doesn't affect me, I also don't really care.

Yes, that's right.  Just the other day he had a Thanksgiving dinner with the Indians.

Thanks for the tip but I shop 100% online now for Christmas. No more dealing with crazy crowds. Plus I don't want to get smashed and be laughed at on the internet when they report I died trying to get a Cabbage Patch doll (or next in thing) for my kids.

Me too!  And all because I don't want to be mocked if I die in a tragic Christmas shopping accident!  Seriously, though, I have to agree.  I don't do much for holidays but my husband does like to send a little something to his family since we rarely see them.  Amazon and online shops are perfect for sending gifts across the pond.  I've always hated malls and shopping in general.  I sucked at being a teenage girl!  (though I wouldn't mind hacking a few years off now)

What show are you referring to?  The Office, Brit or American, isn't a reality show.  It's a sitcom done like a mockumentary.

So why are all these 30-something year old men bored and bitter?  Too many lawyers and not enough guns and money?

I can't wait to find out who wins.  The suspense is killing me.

I've never heard of the first three, either, and I don't watch the last two.  I have no business being in this thread!

Nice show of sympathy for someone you're supposed to love.   I can't imagine why she wouldn't want to have sex with such a prince.  It's no wonder she's depressed.

im not the cause of the depression..... something happened to her...... go fuck yourself!!!!!!!

It appeared that you were happy that you made your wife upset.  Then you followed up by telling us she's depressed and "something happened to her".  It sounded as if you made someone who is already downhearted just a little more miserable and you were proud of it and had no remorse.  We were supposed to cheer you on?  Venting is great.  I'm sure it can be therapeutic, too.  That just didn't sound like venting to me.

I treat my Wife like the Desert needs the Rain ..Still married over 20 years and first wife and in our 40s...

My husband treats me the same. If I wanted a nightlight, for whatever reason, he wouldn't mock me. He'd go out and buy the nicest nightlight he could find. We've been married 15 years and I can't even imagine being without him.  We rarely even argue, let alone fight. We still have wonderful conversations and have never run out of things to do or discuss.  I can't understand why anyone would want to live with a person who would treat them as mean spirited as the OP treated his wife.

Oh and thick Pizza crust is blasphemy, unless it is Sicilian. New Yorker all the way.

Hey!  We may not agree on trivial things, like politics and religion, but we agree on the serious and important stuff - PIZZA!

How could the war on drugs be bad? Or are you another anarchist...

Only an anarchist could like the war on drugs, because that is all it creates.

I don't get it.  Am I missing something?  I'd assume  the opposite would be true.  While I also think the "war on drugs" is as useless and silly as it is expensive, I should think an anarchist would also be opposed to it.  Same deal with Libertarians, no?   I'm falling into your sarchasm, aren't I?  :o

Edited because I somehow stuck a strange word in the middle of all that!  eek!

That's just totally over the top.  I simply wouldn't do it.  I'd sell them on eBay or some other way if I had to.  I won't give my phone number at shops (had to leave a Radio Shack empty handed before) or allow my social security number to be used as any sort of ID, either.  It's not even legal for them to ask, I believe.   I just think these rules are unnecessary and the information can be abused.  What's next?

Wow, I've seen people say all that's needed in one word but Teala got it in one letter!  Good work!

I'd agree with LOTRO but I'm not so sure about Vanguard as far as community goes.  The people who play might be nice but from what I've heard, there's not very many of them.  I only played it in beta and, personally, it was so bad that I almost lost the will to live.  ;p   And Ryzom?  There's probably even less people playing.  I suppose it depends on whether you want any sort of thriving population or just friendly faces.

I can't really recommend EQ2.  I played when it first came out and didn't like it at all.  I tried after they made all those big changes and it was much better but nowhere near as good as LOTRO.  I found it pretty uninspired, for the most part.  As for Aion - I can't imagine anyone playing it for the PVE.  The PVP is definitely where the focus went, in my opinion.

Scott Jennings (Lum the Mad) wrote one of those Dummy books.  "Massively Multiplayer Games  for Dummies".  It was several years ago, though.  You can still get it on Amazon.

I say wear whatever the hell you want.  I wear steel-toe boots, blue jeans and a white T-shirt every day.  I've been compared to a cartoon character in the sense that the outfit never changes.  It's been such a mild form of amusement that the folks at the local Denny's I haunt have taken to calling me "T-Shirt" or "White-T."  See, I even get a personalized piece of pie.

Fashion is for people without charisma.

That's a pretty broad statement about fashion being for people without charisma. In fact, I would say that the most energetic people I know wear the most outrageous things. Also, I know a lot of people who keep up with fashion and are very social and have great characters. I'm not quite sure were you make your assumption from.

But he does it for PIE!

Congratulations now you don't have to risk your life and kill other human beings to make rich people more rich.

Yes! now he can walk around as a civilian, not risking his life (supposedly), and have even a higher chance of being killed by other human beings, so much better! amirite?!

Not to mention somebody still probably getting rich in the process!

I've tried to read this from every angle and I just don't understand.  Can you explain what it means?  (I'm not trying to be snarky or anything, btw)
