He didnt actually call HIM childish, but rather his reaction. Speaking of which, you just did the very same thing...

 meh maybe so, doesnt make the OP's point any less valid, getting ganked is an annoyance, getting killed during a game controlled sinematic in which you have no option to even participate in the fight? thats a huge error on the developers side.

gotta disagree with you there, in fact calling him childish, is childish in itself...Its pretty reasonable to expect that if a game is going to use cinematic events to explain quests and or missions, one should expect a certain level of safty while you are basicaly defenceless, this sint simple ganking, this is bad design.

I honestly dont understand this guys gripe, it just doesnt make sense.

Meh, dont really agree with the OP's point at all, im going to RELISH the rich story elements of this game.

Because the game is actually good, innovative yet very familiar and has tons of potential as a P2P game.  It brought a breath of fresh air to me when it comes to avatar based MMOs. 

However, as I suspected, the F2P cash shop mechanic ended up being the downfall of this game.

 the content quality is maybe 60% that of say world of warcraft. With that being the benchmark these cash shop games try to aspire to, its a good attempt, but why would I spend $15 a month on a game they spend a fraction of the time, money, and effort to develope when compared to world of warcraft? Still doesnt make a lick of sense.

keeping a gaming PC for more than 12-18 months honetly is not a great idea if yoy dont absolutily have to.  I purchase a new rig every year for the most part and sell my previous one, due to it only being a year old I can typically still get a good price for it and recoup a good 2/3rds of the cost of the new pc, on average I put out about $500-$600 a year after the sale of my old PC.  on  a monthy basis I only have to put away about $50 to cover the cost of the new pc at years end, barely anything at all. MUCH better than saddleing yourself with a WAY obsolete gameing pc, and in 3 years having to trash it because it isnt work a dime.

I would recommend waiting until they deploy thier nov-december early 2011 patches, the game is a mess right now.

I love how people commenting on this game copy cat'ing this game and so on. These are MMO's the basic formula is UNIVERSAL just like how all FPS games use the same formula, first person view, gun, reloading, ammo, checkpoint systems, etc. All strategy games for the most part use the same basic micro managment system. The "MMO system" is a universal thing, companies just skin it with thier own game. The fact of the matter is, Blizzard took the theme park model which is the prime MMO model, and made a very high quality game with it, lots of other companies have also made theme park model MMO's but have not done nearly as good a job. these games arent copying ANYTHING ugh people.

so I strated the trail a few days ago, im wondering, if I buy this, than wait till the end of my trial, than activate the box key, would I still get the 30 days free?

I think the whole "you used the registration key so tuff shit" argument is bull. If Square were decent enought o offer a refund to a player who say played the game for 48 hours and was SO repulsed he demanded a refund, they could easily issue said refund and wipe said account and tregistration number from thier system which would prevent and resubbing, simply solution. Games should be like any other consumer product, give me something that works or expect to be reimbursing me for it.

Id like to give it a try. :)

would love a buddy key myself, played FFXI a bit, would love to see how this game panned out. thanks!
