I loved EQ till $ony took over hard and worth it. I then fell in love with DAOC. Bet if they dropped DAOC to say  $8.99 a month you would have a mass run from wowhammer as well back to the olde game. I check back from time to time to play but at 15 a month it is pretty ghost town shame really.

Theres a interesting browser game that might amuse you nothing to D/L www.drakensangonline.com  it has some pvp and group killing played a week saw no need to spend moola yet. Waiting for the next big thing. I beta tested POTBS if its redone ftp might try that one as well myself. I also play DDO occasionly.

CCP has failed, and failed completely.  They've had eight years to get it right, folks..they know EVE is dying so their going to milk that pay-to-win for all its worth before they shutter the game.  CCP will be cranking out sub-par FPS's and other console crap until they run out of money, which won't take long.  Enjoy your mafia wars in space for the brief time it has left, kids, and just hope that somebody comes along and does it right next time.

 

When they Didn't do anything to repay all the losses after ccp cheated with gm players years ago I quit and it hasn't gotten any better. Now it's just a money grab. Want to bet next is classic new server start over? They will drag every penny out of players then fold.

Bought it the week it came out loved it and was really put off by how quick they decided to become a software only company after it's release.

All they have left to do is sell out to $ony hehe.

Save your money nothing new is good ATM. I play D&D online for free right now. Occasionally I resub to DAOC for the fun RVR but its low pop have to join a RVR guild right away good people if you do. (I just played it for five years so get burnt easy on it)

I have gone back to my old love many times and each time its a little sadder. I think if they dropped the price I would play again. Of course they won't because there would be a run from worsthammer back to it if they did. what I did was find a used old copy of the game and install that then let it update hehe. The online download didn't work for me either. The place is a ghost town now. Shame really at 8 years old its still better then most. Right now i am playing D&D online free till something breaks.

For years it was DAOC when something new  failed.  But I refuse to pay 14.95 a month for a game that hasn't been updated or anything in years. now it's DDO.

Has to be a matching card and you need them to have the sli spot and the connecter. Oh and enough power to run em like 1000 min.

*unless theres a big 300 plus person war going on then load times into that system can take a few seconds.

I have done a 10 system warp jump in 4 minutes when it was 5 minutes to shutdown and had to get there.

Was a bit ruff and hard to level at first but they really went all out to fix anything wrong. after about 6 months it was a gem actually the best over all mmo I ever played. I would get bored leave come back did that three times and was fun again all three. I really believe if they dropped the price people would leave wowhammer and go back to it. Too bad its a ghost town mostly now. I left EQ after $ony took over to play it and never looked back. The only other game to hold me near as long was EVE.

the nice thing about this game is skillz have nothing to do with ingame time just time period so you can log in swtch log out.  your best bet if you pay to play is find a casual gamer corp in the forums. I played casual for few years it was fun. hardcore for another year.

The other one that I loved besides DAOC and EVE believe it or not was EQ dark versus light pvp Tallon ZEK server. (this was the first 2 years before $oe broke it) Having to work your way into enemy territory to complete quests and your anywere any time looking over your shoulder was great. Sigh,then $oe took over end of all good things.

Maybe DDO they never really pumped up the fast track except for those that want to pay to bump up.

I think darkfall has just about milked every drop of money it can with more and more bad reviews and complaints coming out.
