EVE Online: Crucible Battlecruiser Spotlight
News Discussion « General Discussion 11/29/11 12:14:25 AM
I agree, EVE needs to add visual ship customization - think of custom decals.
Oh, and the reason you play is to kick the shit out of other people so bad that they quit logging in even though they paid for a 3 month sub. |

How about maybe because their boss wants to continue to have a profitable company so he doesn't have to lay off more people and have the business completely fail due to insolvency? What a dumbass thing of you to say. |

Personally, I don't see why the post articles like these done by "asshats". I guess everything goes downhill after a while. |

Why would I pay $15 a month just so I could pay $10 for a small amount of "new" content? I pay a monthly fee for content updates among other things, this should be included, or the monthly fee should be dropped. |

I don't have a whole lot of time, so I can't address all of your weak points, but I will address the multi-boxing one, even though I have recently let my sub run out and I have only ever played one character at a time. The OP claims multi-boxing is "buying an advantage", but it takes a lot more "micro" skill and attention to fly 4 ships at once. So while it may provide some advantages, it also provides the disadvantage of having to manage four seperate characters at the same time, which I imagine could get hectic, especially if your characters are doing different, equally important tasks. (That point smashed to bits). On another note.. I voted with my wallet and kept it closed when the sub expiration got close. I haven't played for an extremely long time any way. |

On another note, down with cash shops. |

EVE Online: Devs Respond to Internal Newsletter Leak & Fan Reaction

"The opinions and views expressed in Fearless are just that; opinions and views. They are not CCP policy nor are they a reliable source of CCP views as a company." Gem : "While it‘s perfectly fine to disagree and attack CCP over policies or actions we take. . ." Which is it... is it a policy or not? I smell a stinking pile of ****. |

"It can also be incredibly frustrating for especially foreign employees to attempt to advance internally in the company, as there seems to be a resistance to hiring any non-Icelandic speaking people into management positions." In America, employers are called racists if this type of behaviour is permitted. hahaha... |

Aye, I don't care what anyone says, I have 20/20 vision and the font is just too damn small at 1080p. I too have heard they are working on allowing more customization (and hopefully the option to increase the font size to something decent) using the new CarbonUI. I think the Captain Quarters is very cool, but I don't think it would make me sub for another month yet or anything like that. |

Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited: 2011 Re-Review
News Discussion « General Discussion 6/06/11 7:35:12 PM
In my view, he wasn't encouraging people to make a wizard/paldin, but rather, he was encouraging people to play what is fun for them, instead of playing what other people tell them is "good". Personally, I don't make my character to be useful to other players or their party; I make it for me to have fun (which can indeed include being useful). Of course, if you are constantly dying, being slain by monsters, and/or being refused from a group because you don't have the class and skills a party wants then you may not have much fun. You claim one does not have to follow the "munchkin" group (I've never heard that word either, but I'm also no DDO vet) , but then you essentially state that unless they do, they will not be joining your group with their "bad character". It seems the reviewers point holds true. I think the review was solid, as I think DDO is solid. Green-Widow said "the best character builds are on the forum" , and that's great, but I like to play the game for myself, deciding on what is the most fun for me, which may not exactly be "the best" build. However, I do agree that one should probably do a little bit of reading about how to build a solid character; I just don't think they should be given an entire build and told what to do. Overall, a good, seemingly accurate review. |

Not everyone likes to know exactly who or what they are going to fight before they go into it. You know.. "playing the game like it's supposed to be". I, for one, have never been one to use "strategy guide" type things. I like to figure things out for myself. |

Post Trial Invites or Buddy Keys Here
Paragon City Hall (General) « City of Heroes 5/18/11 1:58:02 AM
I figured I would go ahead and confirm -- as others have already -- that these codes give you a whole extra month of game time, not just 15 days. Of course, your account has to have been inactive for 90 days. I just used one for myself to reactivate and it gave an extra 30 days. Happy hunting!!
Here are some additional codes for 30 DAYS FREE GAME TIME when you reactivate: QJPW-Q9A3-G2BZ-CUJH-6GEX QLQH-WMY9-JWPC-L3EP-CBT2 |

Wow (no pun intended) I'm sure Activision Blizzard likes to see this on the front page of mmorpg.com I only played Rift in the beta, so I don't have a whole lot to say about it. But what I will say is that it seems like the reviewer doesn't like MMORPG's.. at least the "classic" version of them. (Maybe he likes something like DCU haha...) And sure, I hate the stale, stagnant, grindy feel of some MMO's too. But it's like cool.. all of the things he pointed out wrong with Rift could apply to WOW; although, I certainly understand the article was about Rift; not World of Warcraft. And he said he doesn't like the themepark aspect of a themepark MMO ir "lifeless" questing that is a part of any MMO. Great... Such a good article... |
