lol I could not disagree more.  I played all pay-to-play mmorpgs out there and I honestly cannot think of any that are better than Wahammer.  Loving it.

Meaningful RvR & PvP with player drops and xp.  Really well done scenarios.   Fantastic dungeons, and more of them then any other mmorpg at release.  I could go on and on.

PS : Do search for posts by the guys in this thread and you will find that they say thesame thing about every single game out there.  Can you say : Trolls ?

Well, I'am having tons of fun in Warhammer and to be honest all I see is more and more people coming in.  It's a great game.  This comes from someone who played every pay-to-play mmo out there.

Well, it sucks that so many of you could not find a good group of people to play with.  That's a real bummer.  I know how that feel 'couse I left many mmorpgs for that very reason.

If it makes anything better you are all invited to join us on the Magnus seve ( orde side ).  Being in a good guild makes a world of difference in all of these games.  Vent, forums, etc..

Re: Original post - Did you do any scenarios ?  Those are super fun and soooo easy to join.  Keeps ? I just look at maps to see whee they are being attacked and just fly to that map, then join the warband, and i am in.

This is such a great game it just bugs me that there are people out there who did not get to experience it properly due to lack of friendly players.

Hah that is so true !  Once you play WAR everything else just seems like you are looking into a monitor watching boring computer animations.

Warhammer is so full of life it's amazing, the fact that PvP is att he very core of the game makes replayability unlimited ( for me anyways ).  And all the different mechanics for the various classess - genius ;)  Every time I play a different class it totally feels like I'am playing a brand new game.  WAR changed me from one charcter PvE player into Altocholic with perma blood lust :D  Love this game.

Finally someone not afraid to post a positive WAR comment.

I have been playing since day 1 and tons of us are having the best time ever.  I played every single pay-to-play mmorpg out there available in North America and even after playing WAR since beta I stil think that it's the best one out of them all by far.

It's nice to see all the new people trying it out now that people who really like the game are actually starting to be heard on the forums.

Forums - There is many but no official forum ( they are useless anyways ).  But if you are looking for something of substance then warhammer alliance and we also have a nice gathering at mmorpgslave.com

Keys - All you have to do is post that you want one anywhere, on any forum, and soeone will send one to you.  If you can;t get one come to mmorpgslave.com ( our guilds website ) and post on our forum ( there is one for getting free keys ).  So far we were able to get one for everyone who posted.

What are you talking about ?  There is more players is WAR now then there ever was.  Tier 1 area are more populated ( on our server anyways ) with brand new players then ever ( and that's new players to the game, no alts no transfers ).

If you plan to talk about something at least talk about something you have a clue about :P  Back to your cave troll.

I'am running it all maxed out on pretty much thesame machine but I have a worse graphics card then you ( 8800 GTS ) and I don't have any problems at all.  I'am guessing you have too much crap running in the background, start with checking what icons you have ( bottom right ) running, most likelly you can get ride of most of the stuff in there.

mmorpg forums never disaspoint if ur looking for a herd of pissed off trolls.

I'am still playing and plan to do so for years to come.  If I had an option for lifetime account like in LotRO I would buy it in a second.  This is by far the best mmorpg I played, ever.

For those of you who played many mmorpgs you will know what I mean by this - Just the fact that Mythic has a huge team working on the patches makes a HUGE difference.  I can't stress this enough.  You play other games and they get better from month to month or even slower, Warhammer is getting better BY THE WEEK - And you nkow what ? It doesn't even have to : no big problems, no huge issues, they just perfect everything that is in it and polish it.  This is a great thing they have going here and they really should get more credit for it.

On our server the starting areas are full of new players, Tier 2 not so much and the older players are in tier 3 and 4 now.  I don;t know how many people are playing it right now but from what I see it;s much more than 800k subs at this point - Just by judging by the number of new people joining the game.

1. Now now have over 100 active players ( this is after purge of inactive toons and alts ).

I second that ;)  Been playing since release and WAR is just getting better and better.  What a world of difference it makes to be playing am mmo with a solid financial backing !  I don't know how many people they jhave on the team but the ammount of stuff they pack into these updates is insane.

I have one lvl 40 character and I have to say that it feels liek the game just started.  Live events are great ( and unlike first one well done ).  Scenarios are actually challenging now that there is alot of pple in tier 4.  But Keeps are a blast, soo much fun, now that tier 4 is populated every time I play in a warband taking keeps we end up in huge battles with destruction over keeps.  It's fantastic !

Come on over to Magnus server and play with us ;)  We are always recruiting quality pple, click on my guild banner if interested.

My advice : Alvays queue for scenarios, do then in between questing.

All it means is that you get XP from both.  So if you like PvP/RvR then you can just do that even.  You are not forced into any specific style of play. ;)  You can lvl up your character either way.  It's really cool.  The only game out there that really has PvP build-into the core pf the game and did it well.

Try it out, you will not regret it.  RvR is fantastic ( Warhammer changed me from solo PvE player to RvR nut ) and every class has something to offer ( each one has different mechanic, etc... ).

It's never boring.

It's one of their xmas specials, it;s really worth it.  You can get a bundle of warhammer, warhammer 60 day card and wratch of the litch king all for under $ 89.

Warhammer is a blast with PQs, Saga of Ryzom also stands out for me.  Both are excellent.

My biggest hope AND disaspointment was that it would get fair reception by forum trolls.  The game itself is superb imho ( especially now after 1.1a ) the only disaspointment I have so far is the way it was received by players.

It's amazing that the guy who actually started this thread has the time and energy to write all that and make an idiot out of himself in public ( read the first post if u have not done so ).
