The game begins at end game? What garbage. It's the journey, not the destination.

I'm still trying to figure out why blood and gore is needed. Nothing about this game strikes me as being kiddy or for kids. |

not sure what came first but player achievements were present in CoH as well. They were called badges.
Great thread btw! |

Maybe you could tell us, how you felt about the games you've tried. Which ones you liked or disliked? or what about them you want or don't want in a new game |

The franchise is down but not out...but its obvious the should have kept Sakaguchi around, or at least let him take his beloved FF with him. Somehow Square-Enix needs at try to re-capture the characters and feel that he does. |

Why does a monthly fee excite so many people

Maybe i just chose an exceptional server, or someting... |

Why does a monthly fee excite so many people

Originally posted by Zippy I get the point you're trying to make, but you'll never get there throwing made up facts around. I'm not exactly for p2p, but i am for alternate payment options. The way i see it, if every game were to continue charging $15 a month, the market for MMOs will never grow. Why? because no one wants to pay for something they may or may not play, and no one wants to (or should) pay for more than 1 or 2 subs. That means what? No matter how many excellent MMO hit the market, only a few will be paid for and played at any given times. Its as if every new game, chokes out the last great one. Can you see how that's harmful? |

great quotes, thanks for posting them. Im getting more and more excited about this game. Mainly because I can tell that everything that goes into this game is well thought out. Probably more thought going into this one than any other game i've followed. To me, he hit right on when talking about the crafting. All that matters to me is finding rare components, ingredients, and recipes getting those rare critical sucesses and marketing and selling what i don't need. If i can accomplish that without wasting time staring at that progress bar. i'd be happy. I'm looking forward to breaking away from the quest line to explore a massive planet and see whats out there to be found. Thats something i miss from older games. I just hope the planets are as large as i hope. I don't know what it takes to make a great mmo, but i definitely like this approach. Bioware just might have it "right". |

nice. The randomization of the enemies in that game makes it well worth $5. good times |

I'm playing Lotro and having a blast. Its a great game for those that enjoy pve and quests |

Nice review. I actually installed the game thinking it looked interesting. However, I didn't even do the starting quest because something about it just didn't "feel" right. I'd explain that more if I could... Plus, I didn't think the graphics looked anywhere close to the way they looked in the screenies. (not talking quality here, I realize screens will almost always look better, it just looks different) Anyway, your very non biased review reminded me that the game still "seems" interesting. I think i'll put a little more time into it, I want to see what its like to stay neutral throughout. The big war at the end sounds like endless pvp endgame, which I don't care for anyway. |

Would it not be better that Guild wars 2 Had a sub?

I don't want to pay a sub, so I hope it works out. For those of you that are begging to pay money, monthly. You should email the devs, I'm sure they will gladly take donations |
