I like character development, being able to build my char with points and armor and weapons. Levelingand reaching the next level,. I find it all very fun. Plus already mentioned above doesn't hurt , hehe

Not real impressed with the how the developers handled the interview. They seemed like they came off Madden franchise and decided to make an mmo, they really didn't come off as having a clue ...

The end game is Mordor, iwhich is no where in sight yet

Being in pre Closed beta  / Closed beta 1 / closed beta 2 , I've never seen a community squash so many bugs in such a small time frame. The resposne time between developers and community was flawless. The level of players who actually knew what to expect in CB was one of the main reasons LotRO is succeeding. Not even Lineage 2 CB could compare to the one here in LotRo .

When  I think about a community, I rarely think about the random people I meet in the game, being a great community spreads past that now into the interent through websites and all around graciousness of being a player of a certain game. The LotRO forums have been well under control from anything I've ever seen for a beta title leading up to launch.

Bad community is Archlord, Vanguard and any other game that totally misses the connection ffrom in game, to forums and communicating to the developers and to tell me that LotrO failed in that is dead wrong .

Wouldn't call that "end game" , just the end of that chapter. There is TONS more to come !

There are many recipes that are one off recipes , meaning there will be only a handful of genuine peices of armor at the higher levels, one off meaning you can only use the recipe once, which will keep from everyiing having the same gear. There are also hundreds of recipes yet discovered inside the game which people have yet to craft....

At the end of closed beta i played MP for the entire month. I played a monster black arrow, and I can say it was really balanced pvp in my opinion. If you had 24 v 24  it was a blast. The end event when the Devs came and played with us , it was around 500 total players in the zone, and it was a blast !

People who have to be an elitest in the games they play won't find anything  in LotRO.  If you ae someone looking for adventure, community, solid game play and a lot of crazy antics along the way, LotRO is for you .

Also like that they didn't go over board with the Chinese architecture in the buildings and landscape. It helps give the game a lot more international feeling. Some of the areas i've been to so far really do feel like Lineage 2 .
