Hmm, reading comprehension would have helped here. You can also double "THAT", in reference to the 300k This would equal 600k. Still about 100k off from AoC. It is not determined in how it is to be interrupted, you the troll say less, I the fan say more ... |

The game is split perfectly between solo and group content. I'm lvl 46 now and I've soloed almost all of it. The Epic quest will be where you need to group and now with the new quest manager it is so much easier to sift between solo , group , epic, raid quests , cause it filters them automatically to show which quest are what kind, it is awesome ! |

While LOTRO had a few issues like monster exploits http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?t=32233 AH Exploits http://forums.lotro.com/showthread.php?t=39394 And things like the Ultra High texture memory leak http://community.codemasters.com/forum/showthread.php?t=179650 But, if you are talking most successful in numbers, that goes to AoC. Curious which one of those issues where game crippling ? Personally had 0 problems with my hi res client at launch, even other did have issues. Mostly people with 1 gig or less of memory had issues(but of course openedge1 had 4 gigs and had issues... /roll eyes) AH issue was crushed with in 24 hours of it being submitted in open beta. AoC proclaims sucessfully shipped numbers .... LotRO at release made tons, as much or even more the AoC. The lore of LotR is well beyond the scope of AoC and the player base is far larger.
Here is a good article roughly 900k boxes actually sold to people in the U.S. and Europe. |

The game had too many quirks that we told Turbine about over and over. They did not fix them. You have a personal army maybe ? Quirks usually means soomething of personal preference that doesn't cater to the whole.
But, you really are taking this a little too personal "Leave US to enjoy Middle Earth". I am glad you are happy there, but it does not mean that I cannot voice my opinion about it's issues either. THe problem with this statement, is that they are your own personal issues, with "quirks" that cater only to you, you continuously project "your" own "issues" as some kind of fact regarding the state of the game, which anyone will tell you they are asinine. You know you just troll trapped yourself with this statement ? I will try to help you learn your fail. |

I would say the game does have it's hiccups, but nothing as crippling as the ones at launch. So don't get to frustrated when something borks up.. |

For the most part, when the community commented on a part of the game that could use improvement. like customizing how your character look, Turbine has answered back in action. Each time somethign comes up, Turbine has always answered with action, not words. Content in 30 lacked at launch, Turbine answered with a completely new zone of content. To have articles from a last year as your evidence of the game currently, is just not applicable. No other developer can do what Turbine is doing right now. They are in a League of their own right now. LotRO is really the first AAA mmorpg ever produced, in my opinion. There is some AA's but because of Turbines dedication to the community and their projects, they get that extra "A" |

I agree, Conan is Epic fail. Epic in the poor development decisions and poor in costumer service, poor in over all presentation. Why Epic Fail ? When ever a developer has to try and degrade other games to make there project stand out , is a clear sign that they are sitting on a pile of shit. LotrO is Mcdondalds then AoC is road kill

Only if VG wasn't so cruel to casual players. You need to dedicate half of your life to feel any progression in that world. Death and travel in VG to a player with a real life = FAIL. Lets call it VG-Job 2.0. The world is astounding, and the mobs look cool. But, the people are still ugly, and the animation is not very realistic, kind of like the models and animations in LOTRO. Combat is not fleshed out well, as some classes get their butts handed to them if they aggro even 2 mobs. I have heard they will be doing a revamp for VG's models though, with a trial area, and starter island...And THAT may be the winning move. Now, if we could have the world of VG, the lore of LOTRO, and the models, animations and combat of AoC, with game fillers like in WoW and EQ2..and a story like Guild Wars We would have the best MMO ever. Dreaming!
that is the beauty of VG, it is not for casual gamers and never was for them. I actually like being on a quest for 4 days in full sessions, and I'm still not done with it. LotrO fill my Story driven fantasy and VG fills my "I am still hardcore gamer" theme. AoC filled nothing for me, it was like a " im kind of a porn game" theme and if I want porn I have actual websites to use ... lol AoC epic fail in theory and design , in my opinion. |

I agree with the Op. I would of never subbed for 3 months to VG is it was not for AoC. What it was for me is wanting that graphic style, but in an actual mmorpg, not a console fotm. Turns out VG has a lot to offer, with quests that last days and days and an abundance of open world terrain to explore. AoC is just a bad game, bad game design, bad game theory, bad over all production for something that took 5 years to make in my opinion, Vanguard took the same amount of time, and you can actually see in VG why it took so long. Some of the architecture in VG is just massive, seriously one of the best underdog games right now is Vanguard, still a ton of work to do , but I would recommend people to buy the liquidation prices before VG takes off . AoC will never, and I repeat never have a massive feel because of the game design. |

lord of the rings has knights of darkness said turbine, but what happens? nothing! false promise and lie alltogether. if dev continue to lie, dev is a lier. lier will never tell the truth and must as so be considerd lier. fact is lier lie
?.? why are you lieing ? AoC community seems very desperate , If they weren't why would the lie like this fellow ? |
