You shouldn't of played in the first place. The game is rock solid and there is tons to do for people willing to do it. Have you found all the recipes yet ? have you crafted every armor to craft / sword have you found every statue of thenine ? There is a lot of stuff, as well as getting every collectable in your book . So if you are saying you done all that , then  kudos, and be well into your next failed attemp at mmo gaming .

 

I can say as well anyone who is bitching about the end game of this title where never here to be apart of the community or they be trying to find ideas on making the game better and relaying them to the developers.

Wow, way to overreact and say I should have never played.

Thats the reality though, in DAoC there was an elitest element, in LotrO there is none. You should of looked at the game better before you bought it, It is not my fault or Turbines that you failed to recognize a genuine role playing game.

You may find this amazing, but there is a certain segment of the MMORPG population that finds activities like gathering, crafting, grinding, to be quite useless in terms of gameplay..... basically, if you aren't questing, or killing something then you aren't really gaming.  These are the folks who got to 50 and found the game wanting..... Sure, for other folks content to do the other activities you listed, LotRO is a great game.... but you can't begrudge the other folks their right to state their dislike for the lack of content at endgame...

I feel sorry for elitest who burned through the content and failed to grasp the true feeling that I was able to find with in the game. The element that a lot of games simpley miss and that is Role Playing.

If you didn't pace yourself and burned through half the game rto reach 50, you weren't there for the content, but only to be an elitest and once you found out that there is no elitest category in the game you cry to the forums that the game sucks(for you). The players at 50 are at the end game as it currently stands. They are at the end of all content, and advancement available, thats called the end game. When they add more, there will be a sliver of content to advance, then you're at end game again untill they update again.

Pretty desperate attempt to rationalize the complete lack of anything to do at lvl 50 IMO. Yeah, its a Troll post, no doubt about it. Is there more game after 50? No. "But in 2 years, they may or may not add content!!1, so you aren't at end game if you use your imagination to have wonderfull adventures!1"

Or go read the latest Harry Potter book, when your done, you're not at the end of the book, because theoretically, she may write another one day!

Screenshots of your lvl 50 toon would be cool as well, or you are just talking out your butt.....

Ok , you start on a game in 2001, hen you see the technology change from then till now. Tell me that you would release a game with 2001 graphics, or do you keep working on the game so it can compete with the 3 gen games? Think it is awesome that a comapany can say . hey we need to upgrade the entire game for 3 gen  technologies, or it will be a joke (cough WAR cough)

Darkfall team are probably in a very nice position where they get the game out "WHEN IT'S DONE" ( thanks cliffy b) and not rush out the door a pile a crap like Vanguard.

With WAR, AoC, PoTBS and a host of other games coming out, there will be plenty of ways for you to enjoy your pvp.  I'm guessing here, but you want a game that is full pvp with full looting.  If you want true competitive game, I highly recommend onsite FPS tournaments.  There are a lot of fun and a lot of money can be won this way.  The problem is, you don't play on  your own rigs so there is no way anyone can cheat and lag is hardly ever an issue.  The problem with today's MMOGs is that it is too easy to cheat.   From hacking to modern keyboards, if you know coding you are at a huge advantage to win.  Look at most of today's MMOG, one button pushing is all a lot of people do per encounter.  How is that gaming?

 

wtf are you rambling about. Darkfall is Shadowbane 2.0 , it has everything I want in one game. PotBS is destined to fail because of SOE. AoC is not going to be a full on PVP type game , they are doing the zone thing, and WaR right now is a joke. Think anyone waiting for WaR is going to be hugely dissapointed.

Darkfall is the only purely mmo exp being developed and it is truly my last hope for a truly player driven world.

Monster play, if you give it a serious try, you will find lots of fun there . The topic stands, if your not in Mordor, then there is no end game !

Shadowbane has wearwolfs too, though it is a transformation skill.

Unless you are standing at Mt. Doom and the One Ring is destroyed, the game isn't over, not by a long shot.  Thought i clear that up for the noobs running around saying they hit "End Game"
