If you are a Scions player, then you'll agree that it has good qualities. The game is fun, but there are hackers/bots all over that game. And since the game just came out of beta, it's expected. They need to know the problems before they can fix them. The bots and hacks should eventually be fixed, and I'm almost certain that they'll update the game and get more quests. As for the people dissing this game, they have the right to say whatever they want about it. That's why this is a forum. If someone says something, let them say it because it's what they have experienced with the game. We all know that everyone's experience in a game is different just because of the way they view it. If they say something that you disagree with, get over it. I support this game just as much as you do, but I also let people speak their thoughts about it so I can understand how this game is experienced by other people. It helps you broaden your own thoughts and learn more about the people who play it.
If you want to hang on Scions with me, look me up @ Mogrune. I'm usually hanging out in World 3. |

This game in general isn't too bad for the basic mmorpg player. The game itself is simple and easy to play. The only problems I've seen while playing it are the bots, hackers, and attacking bugs. The bots all have weird names that are totally random with numbers or letters, the hackers have 3 or 4 characters on at the same time (which in turn makes them all move in the exact same place and attack at the exact same time) and that damn attacking bug that sometimes makes it impossible to intialize an attack on an enemy while it pummels away at you.... these problems need to be fixed, and they need to make the pets and other things more available. I haven't played Hero yet, but if someone is looking for a noncomplicated and simple mmorpg, this game isn't too bad at all. In fact, this game might be able to bring more people into this gaming genre. That is, if they fix their servers and bugs.
I play this game a bit every week so if you have any questions or comments towards what I've said, send me a message and we can discuss whatever it is that you would like. |

The view is annoying, but it reminds me of Diablo. A much brighter and happier version of Diablo which in turn takes some of the fun out of it. This game is fun, and after a bit, the camera angle annoyance goes away. But yes, the camera angle is extremely annoying. |

First off, let me just explain my only problem with this game. That is the stupid noises that the mobs make when they die. Ok, now that I've cleared that out of my system... this is a fun and interesting game. The skill system is unique and the economy based living is a great concept. The graphics aren't like other mmo's at the given time, but that's what makes this game unique. It has an artistic value that is easy on the eyes and simple to run. Some of the text is a bit too small and some of the music isn't that original. Note: If you go into the Novice Cave near the first city and you listen to the music, you will begin to hear a modified version of "Santa Claus is coming to Town." This is an overall good game that I think should remain free. That's what I think, what does everyone else think? |

I'm currently lvl 13 on this game and I have to sat that I really enjoy playing it. It has a sort of artistic value with the 2d graphics. The only problem I see is with the sounds that the enemies make. They make the most annoying sound when they die and it makes me want to kill more, which means I hear it more, which means I go on an uber killing spree because I hate the noise so much. Other than that the game is pretty fun. If you go into the novice dungeon place outside of the first town, BGM is a modified version of "Santa's Coming to Town" Check it out, it's pretty funny. |

Yeah, go ahead and let someone try and hack the games. By the time they get through (that is speaking of if they are smart enough), either a new version of the anti-hacking software is up, or the game isn't much fun anymore. Plus, if they were smart enough... they'd be more concerned on getting/playing the game rather than hacking it. |

I am extremely excited for this game.... I mean like uber excited. PSO was a good game until everyone started hacking and stuff. That is probably my only worry for this game. |

So does that mean that Stargate Worlds is going to have a system like Starwars: Knights of the Old Republic? If so, that would keep the decent RPG aspect while at the same time making a clone of the game. In all honesty, does anyone know what the battle system will be like? I do however agree with the author of this thread when he says that he doesn't want this game to be like the other MMORPG's that populate the online gamers world. |
