I for one am a Pre-CU refugee and have still gone back to the game. Ok it's not what we have known, but still, it's a heck of a good game. Open your mind... I'm not saying to stop griefing the lost of your glorified world, but atleast try it again. You might just be in for a pleasent surprise, I was the first one under shock that the game still appealed to me. The game is doing much better than you think.

Depends on how many WoW players want PvP. It's a known fact that WoW has slim to no PvP and WAR will in some way come to complete this major hole.

Don't forget how much gold buyers suck, and sites that seek gold seller ad dollars.

Honestly I don't see why some people take it so personal.  I could care less what other people are doing with their money.  If they want to waste their cash, on virtual currency.   More power to them.  I'll stick to earning my in-game funds through the means that are allowed to me through the game.

People worry too much about what other people are doing, and not enough about what they should be doing.

I think the real issue is that it gives the buyers an upper hand.

I was comparing them so I'd give you the reason why to stop comparing them. It was the explaination to stop comparing it to WoW/War. If I make a statement then I have to back it up, right?

And no, wasnt a joke.

And by the way, people probably wont be spamming the same combo move. You will be able to aim for different parts of their body, and if the enemy catches on to the same move over and over, regardless of its an AI or not, they will protect themselves and take measures accordingly. At least thats what it says.

Do your research kid.

So basically, not much different from any other mmorpg where an ai reacts to certain types of attacks. Spam combo type 1 until enemy reacts. Spam combo type 2 until enemy reacts. Spam combo type 3 until enemy reacts. I can almost feel the excitement!

Thanks for clearing that up, boy

Yes I guess you could do it that way but wouldn't you just be boring yourself out? I think what he's saying is that their are many animations available to use and that you can use many of them during the same combat with possibly nice results. If you want to continually spam the same combo over and over, go for it but perhaps you won't have to. I guess we must wait in octobre to find out.

They say not to judge a book by it's cover, maybe we shouldn't judge this one based on the first 2-3 page. Keep reading and you might be in for a pleasent surprise... who knows.

My apologies for this utterly random and senseless comment.

Maybe elaborate a bit more? Combat is horrible... that's nice... why? Give us some info. Not being able to pick your gender is really an issue to you?

Anyways, to make your post actually worthwhile, you should go more in details.

lol, I think i said enough.. anyways yes not being able to pick ANYTHING about my character is an issue, character customization is a must in this day and age. EVERYONE will be one of 6 generic characters.

Some pics

www.dcikinship.info/alanapics

The 1st two pics I am the Beastmaster type (Graphics cranked) , the 2nd is a Hunter and a Warrior.

The combat is clunky, hard to click or select mobs, the mob moves behind you and you stop attacking, can't get skills off, really bad. My 2c.. sorry to burst your bubble, I was hoping it would be decent. Nothing exciting here, for me anyways oh well

Well I can assure you it was decent, was just pointing out the fact that you can't really expect many people to take that "review" seriously if you don't provide enough info, although I'm very satisfied with the clarifications you brought

Agreed. especially over the internet. Perhaps we are a little too much into it. I had a good laugh with pretty much all of them.

Don't you find the animations make him look like an actual "caveman" or what ever you wan't to call it? Would it be the same if he walked like a slim olympic runner even though he supposed to be a big muscle factory. I find it creates somekind of an effect, wich is nice. Call me a fanboi if you want, just trying to see the bright side

No it is not hard. Usually you will have nice colored diagrams with the MB, Processor etc that show where they go and how to attach the cables etc.

Its basically like putting a model airplane together, if you can do that you can build a pc.

Just follow the directions really closely and if you get stuck then google what you are doing and you will find an answer.

Good luck

The consequences of screwing up your PC and a model airplane are quite different. As the other poster said, if you've never opened a PC before then maybe you should get some help.

Kind of depends. If you plan on buying all the parts and putting them all together yourself, then yes it's a bit hard. If you only want to choose the parts you want and have a pro put them together then no it's a piece of cake; if you're asking for advice on what to buy then please say so along with your budget.

I guess I can partially agree with you. Yes, the animations are not exactly what most of us were probobly expecting. Disapointing? Not in my book it's not. Although I agree that the combat animations seem to always be the same, from what I have seem they also look very fluid and constant. In other words, it actually looks like if a human was swinging that axe or what not. Some games you feel like you're watching a robot do funny gestures. I found this to be quite appealing. As for movement... Ok, the character does look like he has something up his behind but it's not all that bad. I'd like my post to be much more detailed and well thought-out but I'm in a bit of a hurry but I can assure you that I will come and edit it when I come back. All-in-all, the animations weren't really as nice as we were expecting, I'll give you that. But I feel it gives some kind of a nice dimmension to the game. You really feel like the character might just well be some kind of a "caveman". I think I'd be more puzzled if he walked like an olympic runner with perfect modern-man style. Although it's not as nice as we had wished for, I feel like it's pretty darn good anyways, and it will surely not stop me from buying the game.

Well that was the 2 cents of a very late guy with really no time to post an elaborate answer

But seriously congradulation on your multiple wins, I'm sure most of us including me greatly envy your luck. As for the goldseller ads... I guess I can say I don't mind them either. Of course I'd rather see an ad for an up-comming game but if the website only has goldseller ads, then why not just ignore them.

I'd tend more on the card side, 1 gb of RAM is plenty imho. I do agree with Flem though.  Why not both get

Pretty sick for him, draws are made randomly, if his named poped up in 2 contests I'm fine with that. Let's not be jealous now.
