Imo you should wait and see just like the other guy said.  I've been a flip flop on Darkfall for quite some time now.  It makes me happy to still see people so excited about it, and it really pisses me off that people talk smack about it.  I have no idea how the combat is going to be on release and nor do any of these other people on here.  Some hate, some love, but in the end we don't know.  Unfortunately everyone needs to accept that fact, and like in all cases I'd say only 1% of the people have accepted that we don't know.

I mean honestly, do you really think the forum creator saying how he wants to preorder the game wants to read a bunch of fools bad remarks on the game!  NO!  so GTFO!  Now if you want to be analytical of the game thats something, but  "might as well light your cash on fire"  bullshit should not be here.  which is why i am happy that the forums have a block feature.

yea, i guess that first paragraph came out a bit harsh, i'm not a hater, but a very harsh critic/skeptic.  Knowing myself and how fickle i am, i'll still probably end up buying the game a couple days after launch

I have to admit, I was a fanboi of darkfall, and I would bash every troll ro hater of darkfall.  I believed it to basically be the mesiah of mmos.  calling this game vaporware pissed me off more than anything.  However, another delay has opened my eyes to reality.  This is just another game company trying to bullshit their way through this...  FFS they didnt even really beta test this.  Open your eyes people, just look at the reasons Tasos gave.  one of which included finances, thats just BS at this point.  Theyre trying to SOE us!(yes I just used SOE as a verb).

i hate to agree with Guillermo197 cuz he seems like such an ass, but  i must agree with everything he said.  real people are needed, not bullshit lame reasons such as "we have thousands of AI bots testing"  ...thats just a lame excuse for not being real.

you guys are all right at this point.  i've been a fool believing in darkfall.  it gave me false hope, i guess i just needed something to look forward to, but clearly this is not it.  I guess i'm just an impatient person that is just looking for the "next big thing".

I must agree. It'll be a niche game, but only a niche game if it delivers its core promises.  If it doesnt do that, then we may be looking at the next tabula rasa, or even worse hellgate london.  Some people just don't like sandbox games, so thats why i'd say itll most likely be a niche game.  Hopefully that niche will grow more, but who knows.

Durahell is absolutely correct.  Several people that would have never played an mmorpg have entered our world thanks to Wow, however as far as evolution of mmorpgs Wow is not helping, but nor is it hurting.  Its like a filler game in between ultima and whatever next thing there is to come (maybe DF maybe MO maybe something we've never even heard of)

Anyone that believes Wow to be the greatest mmo of all time should just shoot themselves in the head.  Don't get me wrong its kinda fun, but in no way is it the greatest.  Especially as far as the community interacting with the game. (not that the community is a bunch of retards, just that like in a game like DF the community will actually affect the world vs Wow community doesnt do shit)
