Ever notice how the exp % goes to 4 decimal places? Things were slow in the mid 30's, I cant imagine what it would be like geting .0001% xp a kill later on.

I find it funny how they still have the collectors edition listed for 80 dollars. :P

That's really nice, I will probably sub up to L2 again once that goes live. The only problem I can think is that all the old areas will be abandoned and obsolete. Not too much of a price to pay I guess, but I will miss some of my fav leveling zones.

Edit: Person above me, are you serious about it only taking a month to grind to level 75? From that I remember, and commonly hear, that's BS. It would take more like 6 months from what I hear.

Like in every asian MMO, click n point is the main form of movement. And the WASD controlls are sort of slapped on. I havent played the game in a while, but I think you can get around pretty well by using the W key to move forward and one of the mouse buttons (probably right) to turn.

I would give the click n move a try though. Its not THAT bad it just takes some getting used to.

Hmm yes that sounds interesting. I always wondered how controlling three people at once and pvp would work out.

The PK city and colony wars you mentioned sound very interesting. I'll have to look into that more.

Back in the open beta, I played up till about level 30 and got bored with the game and gave up on it. But recently, I have decided to give SotNW another go (I have nothing better to do) and was wondering how the PvP is in the game. I remember back when I played, I didnt see any signs of PvP at all. I know its in there, some where, but is it any thing good or just something tacked on to make a attempt to satisfy PvP fans?

Why must every one compare every game to WoW? Its not the only MMO to ever exist ya know.... but for some of your complaints, keep in mind its still in beta and they probably still have some things to polish and what not for when its released. So I expect some of these things to possibly be fixed in the future. And while you say getitng max level in WoW is too easy, I agree, but I sure dont enjoy a HUGE gind to 200 or so. I dont want to spend a year or so leveling to higher levels to PvP and play other endgame content, that no fun.  And I would expect the game to be mostly out doors, thats the way its done in most Asian MMOs. And I dont see this game comparing too well with WoW,  western and eastern MMOs .

Well, 40 bucks a day. Thats 200 a week (5 day weeks), and it adds up to a bit as the weeks go by. Its nothing to make a living on, but in my eyes its a awesome way to make $10 a hour.

But I was wondering how many people they will be hiring, and if they will hire just any one who can play a MMORPG. If they advertise it like they did you think that they are trying to get a lot of people to apply for the job.

Look at it this way prof....go to pvp now, twink a toon without interuption, server merger happens and you are geared

There is enough content to solo now, or better yet, lvl up on a team v. team to provide group opportunities before the merger

 

I already have a level 30 something on the FFA PvP server (Tharridon?) I wouldnt want to start a whole new character. Im not as much worried about not finding groups, I dont mind soloing at all, but I dont want to be on a dead server with just a few people on it and feel like Im playing a single player game. So what I guess I'm trying to ask, Is the FFA server completely empty and is there some what of a community on it? Thanks.

All this time I thought it was coming out June 30th, not July. I was so excited.

Well, for the above character view aspect, I could suggest Tales of Pirate Online (I also think its in beta, if not its just out of beta) but the graphics are verry cartoony, not in a WoWish way though. I am not sure how the PvP is in the game because I didnt play it long before dropping it. Not the greatest suggestion, but it just came to mind when you mentioned you wanted the overhead view.
