and probably the worse thing is the understandably tiny team of devs working on the game - took almost 2 weeks to fix a game breaking bug introduced by the last update (well, just one of the bugs introduced but the one i cared about)

performance is still greatly lacking and i really hate the chunking that is still going on i just love it when the whole game freezes for a bit and then restarts with you in the air and then landing onto the new chunk

another game that doesn't understand crafting or crafters - so another game i won't be buying crafting should be absolutely central to any game with items and equipment is it so hard for developers to read a bit of history or stick their head out of a window and observe the world they live in while creating one of their own? everything from the highest level to the lowest is/was created/made by someone
the best items are from RVR - fine - someone makes that item which can only be used in RVR and can be looted/captured - which means not every race or faction can make the same stuff but they sure can use it pretty simple huh? |

well, this just fell off the radar not necessarily because of the microtransactions which i really don't like, though i am willing to see what they have in mind - but because they want me to pay for the box/download for a game using this type of payment model sorry - it doesn't work that way

though i don't think this is vaporware - until the devs go to a show such as GDC etc, and don't forget to bring their game with them (hehe), most reasonable people will remain skeptical

when you move items from one container/hold to another and you have to wait for it to actually happen - that is lag when you activate a module and you have to wait for it to actually occur - that is lag that is EVE - but mostly on Saturday evening and all day on Sunday (U.S.) or if a fleet battle is happening anywhere in the EVE universe

economy anyone? yes, someone has to want what you are selling - OMG! just like in the real world there is no NPC sitting around waiting to give you gobs of in-game money for your stuff again and with a little more emphasis - definitely not for you

I don't think EVE is for you - really the tutorials cover just about everything in the game (though this is a fairly recent development) and do it quite well i'll give you a clue for the selling - pretty simple really right click on the item you want to sell - hit the option for "sell item" - a window opens showing you what someone is willing to pay for it (if anyone) - usually pretty low - so you hit the "advanced" button right in that little sell window - no need to hunt for it - now you have the opportunity to set the price you would like to sell it for and how long you would like to try to sell it for that price wow, just like rocket science - heheh - kidding
