CCP can intervene whenever they want to discuss this with me but I doubt they will. So in my small way, I will try to make a difference to the gaming community. Thank you for posting.

your overblown sense of entitlement and worth is just staggering, if EVE was say like WOW what you are in fact saying is, from day one you want to be able to do end game, however as EVE is a "sandbox" you cant compare "leveling" with skill progression, a time sink is required by all of the genre.

Oh and even if you did want to play it like a Themepark game till you felt worthy or entitled in your case, you can grind the missions, but thats not all, from day one you should join a CORP as that is the real reason of EVE, new player friendly corps will assist and guide and even give you work to do, and if you lose your ship many of the corps will replace your ship...

However all this means nothing if your not a corp team player (whole point of game) and your just a over reaching over self-entitled solo player with little ship syndrom.

Waiting for CCP to contact me, wow, just wow......

After planetsides 2 showing what its engine can do, not talking about the planetside 2 game itself, im more intrigued about Eq-next, the vids of Archage have shown quite wooden interaction combat wise, and to date never seen a Asian MMO translate well and Im not just talking about text/speech......

So no to the hype, but certainly going to watch how it goes at release wait a month or so and have a go, I never do month 1 in any MMO any more.

I  made a fair amout hauling on player contracts, mostly vast ore amounts to the budding builders/industralists and the odd corp contract to relocate.

I will use one example as a good thing to keep and eye open for, and sorry to anyone doing these runs now, Jita to Wuos, 8 jumps, wuos and surrounding systems have high demand for shuttles of all things, dont over look the simple things, sometimes the cheap but high volume slow burner sales all add up, and AMMO, in wuos case it was mostly t2 and faction missile that always sold well.

Other good runs where sharlehund (vague spelling aint so anal as to mem all the places ) and surrounding areas those were normaly big ore moves.

It isnt the fastest way to make isk, but as your mostly in high sec its a good afk money maker, ganking risk less than mining as frieghters can take a bit more and ganker only has a certain window, plus your bouncing high sec gates with carebear patrols and sentries so AFK money runs are safer than mining afk.

But as you already noticed the big money is in contracts to low/null, but bear in mind some contracts are traps just to bring your sorry ass in, I never ran contracts to low sec dead end systems was one golden rule I had when choosing a run.

As for mindless ganking claims, nothing mindless about it at all,in fact in high sec it requires a fair about of work, cargo scanning, following, setting up an ambush, etc etc etc.

Most people equate ganking purely on their mining experience in High Sec, but Heavens knows miners are told time and time again how to be a small target, and do they listen, do they (BLEEP)......

Even the ones complaining know the mindset of EVE and CCP, yet instead of blending in, becoming part of the system, they thrash around and squeal, which in the predators world, thats just a big old dinner bell, ask any shark..

With Star citizen in the works that will provide the PVE Eve experience people keep banging on about, its that game I reckon thats going to hit Eve,s numbers to what extent only time will tell.

How we forget the lessons of the past, and when I say past I mean like 2 years ago.......

Seriously you are looking at the Hype meter, the thing thats so open to abuse and whims of the short term disappointed, oh and the biggie that DF v1.0 back in the day was one of the biggest offenders for abuse of the Hype meter....

FAv sim....Freespace2 in my opinion no one has nailed space combat as well as that game did, doing a bombing run on a battleship, flying down its flanks to hit its soft spots...........

Fav Fun game.....The old dungeon keeper series, still go back to that every once and while, a very funny game.

Fav RTS.....SINS (the space rts) have alot of hours clocked on that.

Fav MMO........Vanguard as my MMO, I do try and love her, and its a strange relationship, something akin to dating your ideal woman, but once a month just turns all batshitt on you and tries to stab or smother you in your sleep.

Fav Fallback MMO....Eve, I keep getting out of rehab, but then after some time off Eve, the  biggest dumbass'd pair of rose tinted glasses gets put on and I go back for a period of self flagulation, come to think of it, its the same glasses I wear to play Vanguard, (self insight moment) AHHH FRACK IM MESSED UP.

Eve PC only and a tad niche, DUST 514 console only, and to further gimp the process Playstation only, meant to join up PC players and Playstation players into a single server/universe.

Whoever the ideas team is for CCP who not only got this turd of an idea to float, they also managed to divert nearly all CCp cash flow onto themselves and nearly brought the company down, has got to go in some special hall of honor.

Darn it, if they can get funding for that vomit filled sickly sweet stench of decay dead Donkey, then there is a hope for all of us to come up with some huge pile of polished turdiness (real word honest) and get it funded.

Im looking forward to Panetside 2 for its persistent world combat, im still playing EvE, but after viewing the planetside 2 engine I am now more intrigued by EQnext than I was before seeing as using the same engine, but damn if SOE is keeping info tight on that title.

I hope he does work on EQ3 to but quite rightly stated far far FAR away from planetside2, in fact there should be extra security employed just to make sure Brad cant wander into "BRAD RESTRICTED" areas.

Accounting might also be a good idea to place in restricted area along with any areas with a sick bay containing meds stronger than childrens paracetamol.

But give Brad EQ3 some woodelves and a ranger class he can get all wet over, and he will be one happy little bunny.

There was some in Planetside 1, so i wouldnt be suprised if there was.
