Candygirl, you're saying like EQ is some dead project and SOE just tries to get last cash out of it. Do you know that EQ1 has more active subscribers then EQ2?

Why do you start a topic asking which game has the biggest content just to give your definite answer yourself a bit later.

And I don't agree. EQ's content are copies, not new content. The gameplay from expansion 1 is exactly the same as expansion 12.

The fact I started this topic doesnt mean i can't discuss other people posts and argue. And I dont see, how Secrets of Faydwer is less different from previous expansion then Rise of Kunark. They both have completely new zones, features, tasks and so on.

Sorry, mate, but Everquest 1 with 14 large expansions and 400+ game zones beats the hell out of EQ2 in terms of content

I'd like to hear your opinion on which MMORPG has the biggest amount of content period. This includes the size of the world, amount of quests, npcs, monsters and bosses, crafting, skills and overal things to do. Which game is the best to get player busy and let him discover someting new for years to come without adding new add-ons?

Well, I was hardcore WoW player myself for 2.5 years and now switched to LoTRO. I enjoy exploring Middle Earth much more then when I was playing Burning Crusade

Pros/cons of LoTRO compared to WoW:

There are games that make me feel sad for them dieing. Like Ryzom and Gods & Heroes. I played Fury, read forums and I dont feel bad that this game goes downhill. Maybe Auran will learn some lessons and next time focus on making a fun and polished game instead of releasing some crap just to make quick cash

Let CCP add to EVE Online: planets walking and exploration (each with different landscapes, citizens and content), planetary fights, walking through stations and ships, more ingame media (newspapers, TV, global space network) and more thought out PvE, it will be Next Gen MMO anyone would dream of

Im playing for 7 monthes and yet consider myself a noob. There is so much more to learn..

Ozmodan, check those screenshots. 2 from old world and 2 from late expansion. Didnt EQ really change much graphically?

You all must admit that WoW was not such an Original game, it is fun bu far from original. While EQ was very original and has more content then WoW. EQ has ok graphics if you running a nice rig and wow has nice graphics but neither is impressive at this moment. Coming from a person who is not biased, I would have to say I rank EQ above WoW on th grounds of more content. End game EQ has much more to do because it has been out so long, has more in low level mid level all levels.

Also you should go turn the graphics up all the way on eq, its not as bad as you think.


I say the review is right just because if I had to chose to be put on an island with only 1 of these games it would be EQ as i would obviously not get bored of as fast.


This is not biased either, it is simply the fact that EQ is very solid, has tons of early, mid, and late game content, ok graphics, pretty good amount of players, good sound, small loading times, nice story, nice customer support, low down time, no lag, very strong community that is helpful and friendly.

Now list of the things that wow has above EQ, i will gladly say what EQ has above it and we will see which weighs out.

Now do you understand the perspective that its not all about graphics it might be about the whole experience and the big picture?

OH COME ON!!

Everquest's populations couldn't drop any lower, even pok is empty.

Strong community? Are you kidding? There's none left.

Botters yeah, enough of those.
