Since it started with White Wolf`s Vampire: The masquerade and subsequent additions, with werewolves and mages, it might be interesting enough for you to try out.

 

Considering that 95% of all games contain a mage or a rogue, I would have to think that WOD by CCP is the only chance for a Vampire MMO to make it to release. No other company will ever have the courage, money, and ability to pull it off.

 

I really hope so too as I enjoyed the table top game. I can let mages go since as you`ve mentioned, they`re everywhere, but won`t mind if they are IF they can bring the good background story they had for being in the same world.

Maybe change their spells to not be so common place, as mages go.

The part you choose are cheap.. too cheap that it's already outdated.. For the Case... not enough Airflow.. computer will fry.. Memory.. i would avoid No name Memory.. Power Supply.. not enough Watt.... Motherboard.. only 2 DDR2?! would need replace if you want to upgrade later.. which will be more expensive

We can't do public beta test in EU.. as its an RCE game.. those who are in Beta would have great advantage after the release of CE2.. which sadly make all players a beta tester and play on a unoptimized game... Some random crashes is all i get tho..

EU isn't gambling .. if you see it as a gambling game.. then its your problem.. and Afterworld is in the same boat... EU is entertaining... buying an DVD at 40$ that you will probably watch once.. is an entertainment too.. comparing Gambling and EU is just like... Marines and Terrorist... they both got weapon, trained, they kill people but aren't there for the same purpose..

If Jedi/sith can be use from the start.. this game won't last long.. crafters will be useless... as 90% of players will be a jedi.. and all they need is a robe, a light saber and some crystal found in a cave.. where 10k others jedi went there by a quest from the same master...

Perfect MMO would be... No grind, no quest that 10k others accomplished before you ,  only one character, no class.. so you become what you want exactly... an mercenary good at crafting or a crafter mining his own ore...

RPG mean Role Playing Game... it isn't a role playing game anymore if 10k others are doing the same shit as you...

But the mass always get what they want and get stolen their money with a game with nice graphic and poor and simple gameplay...

the only tactical stuff i see in this video is.. Hide behind wall crouch, stand up, shot, crouch stand up shot and retreat ,reheal,  go back and do it again.. it sure have some tactical.. but i wouldn't say its "Real" Tactical.. play some FPS you will see what is real tactical with communicaiton

I saved more money on that game than any MMO with montly payment.. because i can cashout anytime... i guess there involve the investment stating... at July it will be 2 years i play that game... Just don't expect to make any money in that MMO... its just a game

Yes, I started with WoW. It was my introduction to the world of gaming. When I was studying computer animation, I watched the guys in the lab playing the beta and it looked like fun. The thing however the tipped me to actually try out the game was how Blizzard ended the beta. If anyone remembers that far back, rather than simply post a message saying "Our beta testing period is now over", the developers simply let loose hordes of impossible-to-kill creatures into the world and let the mayhem ensue. We sat in the lab just laughing our asses off as we watched players feebly attempt to band together to try and take these things down.

In short... WoW has a sense of humour. It's a GAME and it knows it.

As a CG junkie, I have been trying to find other MMORG games with better graphics to get into, but I always end up going back to WoW for the simple reason that, unlike much of its competition, it doesn't have a big ol' stick up its butt.

If that makes it accessible... if that makes it "carebear"... fine and dandy with me. Please point me to other games that aren't going to treat us evidently *inferior* female players like dirt.
