Love the Play the Fae free trial but should I pick it up, I'm also in Europe...

xenistis,
truth be told the EU mmo market is small compared to the US' so it's really no big surprise to me that they don't push the game that much, just wish they would at least have a version to d/l that was full FoE and not to buy each individual expansion + original game... meh, whatever, companies are companies and that's it. |

I say install it, give it a go... and if you have to pay, bring it back to the store, make a scene, get FoE, and install that, or start a new acct.

sweet man. I ordered the game today from a brit website, the thing's nearly impossible to find in Spain. Anyways, looking forward to seeing a bit more of the game than just the noob stuff.

Ok, so here's the skinny....
I've played MMO's since UO, played WoW for a while, and just checking out MMO's I picked up the Play the Fae trial - and to be honest loved the damn thing. But I have a few questions. 1. If I chose to start now, will I be soloing until lvl 55 or are there still people coming to the game, learning it, and learning together, or do the vets who reroll to get another char simply grind away to 55 and hang out only with their guilds? Or will I be able to quest with others? 2. Servers. What I see from the European Servers, EQII looks pretty dead to me, light load on all of them (UK ones). As someone living in Europe will I be able to play on the US servers? Do I have to stick to the UK ones? and are the PvP servers populated at all in the U.S.? And what are general server populations??? the ones in the UK are always low... anyways, would really love to play this game, sorry if I'm not making too much sense in this post, was working from 9am to 11pm today, and I'm a bit tired. Thanks a bunch, - J |
