At this moment there are 3 guild wars titles in the top rated MMO's.

I don't really understand what this game has more than any other? I understand the other titles in the list: Lotro is big, nice lore, nice graphics,... Even though i find it a bit high rated.

the same counts for Everquest II and EVE.

But guildwars??? Except that it is free, and on its own a good game, I don't understand why its so high rated. In my eyes its not even an mmo. So what is the main reason that peope seem to like it a lot???

Well let me gevie you some other backstories of a few movies then:

Star Wars: People have power, some use it for good, some for bad. So they fight.

LOTR: Bad ring being made, evil wizzard wants it back. So they fight.

Transformers: Other planet: robots, good and bad, they fight.

Spiderman: man has superpowers and goes on fighting the bad guy.

All of these movies where a great hit. The backstory of this game resembles Star wars quite a bit to be honest. Somtimes when i play this game its like playing jedi academy, but only better.

Anyway, the review isn't really good. Its a description of the levels.

But i have to agree on the community part and the forum part. Why the hell don't they have forums? Thank god they're going to make a LFG tool. It will make things much easier.

I don't get it why so many people hate TR, and so many people love WoW???

TR has a great story that is being build out. It runs very smoothly and looks amazing. Instead of grinding you get to frag. Which is the same thing, except that i find fragging a lot more fun!.

Of course i have never played this game in beta, and just played for a baout a month. And i still think its great. Maybe it gets less polished later on, andm aybe i won't like it as much then. BUT for now, i am having wordth my money. I got the collectors edition which i got cheaply. And i have played for over 30 hours. So i have payed less than 1 $ an hour. Try to get other entertainment that cheaply.

As far as i'm concerned its a great game, but as with everything: you either like it or you don't. But saying this game deserves to fail... no not really.

Well, I am enjoying the game a lot at the moment, even though i just started. The servers are indeed quite populated atm.And hey, there is nothing rong with trying the game out again.

I share your vision with the fact that this game has a lot of potential. It looks good and it feels good. It has this jedi academy kind of aura arround it, with these logo skills.

I think its great when a game can accomplish this.

All this cheating talk is just a big pile of crap.
I hear everyone saying: CCP this and CCP that.
Now think:
If something happened it must have been a member or maybe some members of CCP, but CCP as a whole???
Suuuure, they want to get known as a bunch of cheater, sure they want to loose paying customers....
Its like all those idiots who say: sometimes they cut up coke with rat poison??? Never happened, but people believe it. Why was it never cut up with rat poison: because a dealer doesn't want to loose its customers.

I am quite certain some things happened, but not in the ammount that has been spreading.
I know, people looooove conspiracy theories, but sometimes there is actually no conspiracy at all, ok maybe 1% or so of the theory would be right.
Personnaly, i think some people want to black mouth CCP because they got banned for using exploits. I must admit, they're doing a good job.

And on the other hand: do you really believe that IF they happened they don't happen in any other MMO's??
Everywhere people exist evil things happen, its in our nature. So if the program isn't ran, created and updated by a computer, then things like that could happen.
