IMO it's a great and fun game up until you start going up against hackers. Majority of them are using hacks from Aimjunkies.com. I stopped playing last summer and don't plan on trying it out again.

 

People complaining about it's repetitve nature, well, that's just about any game.

ever been 100% sure that they hack? ever had real actual proof? ive been called a hacker so many thimes i see it as a compliment on that game, ppl call u hacker just cus ur doing somthing they cant understand... there like, "How the hell did he know where i whas" wich can be easely explained by just mentioning this game is 3rd person, a person can easely look behind a wall without letting ppl see him, also teamspeak can be used to coordinate attacks, the onley real hack that is present is aimbot, though i havent seen it that many, somtimes i play a month without seeying one hacker. also, the onley way u see its a hackers is when he "snaps" and not while walking he suddenly snaps to you that even i can do, but snapping while shooting, thats how you see a true hacker, who cares about wallhack if u can freaking use your brain and look behind walls, and think where the game would let him respawn and think where the hell he would run to ... its unbelievable how many ppl are trowing hackusations at someone just better than them...

100% Yes! You're make some very good points, I am not saying you are wrong. I have gotten those same accusations on days when I was just on a roll, but then I kept running into the same folks who were so obvious and denied ever using hacks. Those same very folks eventually made it on Gamefirst bans and you got to see the list of players from what server they were from. I believe the EU servers had it the worst, but these guys eventually make it back to the servers with new accounts new names. I don't know how bad it is now, but it was terrible then. After 3 mons of this shit I called it quits, reminded me why I stopped playing shooter games.

Search Youtube for Aimjunkies, you can see for yourself how easliy accessible it is to obtain those hacks.

 

i am aware of how easy it is to get those hacks, also could u say when u last played, cus i do remember being a lot more hackers a long while ago, but then g1 did  something that atleast got rid of the hackers for like 2weeks to a month, and since then i have onley seen 3 hackers (in the last 5months) but maybe that is becouse i am gold ranked, and maybe the hackers are already banned before they reach gold rank, wich is a possibility, also its true that hackers can easely come back, make new accounts cus its still a free to play game ... and the onley thing u have to do is just make sure u have fraps, and the second u see a hacker, then record him snapping, then just post that on the forums and switch district, and by the next day that account is banned.

the pay to win that ppl say is correct in a way. cus u can buy better weapons trough cash shop that u cant get anywhere else, BUT if u play the game for a while u will learn one thing, skill beats P2W, ive never bought any weapons trough cash shop, yet ive been gold rank for about he last 6-9months ... hardly ever lose matches and the so called hackers i hardly ever meet, though ive been called a hacker multiple thimes, and been reported multiple thimes, so far, havent been banned, ive seen lately that if u are a beginner in this game its hard to learn u get put up against avarage to bad players, and becouse u constantly see children in chat saying ppl hack everythime they die u start thinking that ur playing against hackers yourself.

what i mean to say is, there are hackers yes , but like 1 in over 250 is maybe a hacker. otherwise its just a player that is genuinly better than you, the game itself is fun, best way to enjoy is going at it with some friends, ive spent countles of evenings playing with 4 ppl together on apb and having a total blast on it.

for ppl that already play the game and still say that P2W is all they can think of il just say this... [might sound like bragging ....]

i have 3 characters:

first one onley used the beginner weapon (star) with NO modifications and some pistols. lose maybe 1 in 5matches.

2nd char use close range weapons , (oca, and shotguns,) NO modifications and some variety of pistols . lose maybe 1/4 matches

3rd character uses far range, obeya, sniper and all those things, NO modifications, and a variety of pistols, though i onley play this char if im with 3or 4 ppl, cus far range is more a support and gets less kills, but i onley lose about 1/8 matches .

All commands could instantly be given during action by pressing Q and using the mouse.

 

IMO, any game which requires VENT or VOIP or whatever ruins the entire RPG part. The last thing I want is to hear a bunch of perverted college freshmen jacking off to robot chicken while smoking weed until the middle aged house wife comes in with the voice of Marge Simpson, followed by the histarical laughter of a 12 year old kid playing a longbearded ancient dwarf.

People who require VOIP to play games take it way too seriously. If they like it, that's one thing. If they require it, that's just silly. To all those who say "Pro's require VOIP" or "The team with VOIP will whipe the floor with the people without VOIP" are simply not playing the right game. Even in a FPS game, it doesn't make that big of a difference. The cumulative player skill is what will make the biggest difference, and that is determined before the match ever starts.

I've never been beaten threatened by a PvP guild in WoW or SWTOR which uses VOIP. Why? I am better than most without VOIP. I perform teamwork naturally, through the use of common sense and teamwork. I don't need anyone telling me what to do, as I'm spamming Bubble, Heals, and target assisted DPS faster than most players can even process the words to say to express their needs.

I realize I'm not the only one, but IMO being told what to do or who needs what is a crutch that bad players use to avoid learning how to do it without being asked to.

just saying that in a fps, VOIP will win vs ppl who dont use it, maybe not if the VOIP players are a bunch of kiddies, but with VOIP u have way more control over the match, lets just say COD, ive played wars alot on that, and without VOIP i dont think i would of won that many ... if we play a war we dont start talking about random stuff, we talk onley when we have something usefull to say, like the position of the enemy, if u saw an enemy  and then u say where u saw him over ts/vent,  ur teammates might even be saved from a bullet in the back, he may even kill the person instead. BUT that is onley in a war. also COD is not a good game to use if u want to show teamwork, with all them lone wolves running around. though in a war, u still see teamwork, wich is mostly dependend on VOIP, [ IMO ]

as a gold player i have to say, "wallhacking" is hard to say... its third person... so the can look behind walls and see from where u are coming,  and also the increase of "hackers" is not true, there arent that many in the game, i see like onley one hacker every 2-3 days, and thats it, most of the time, and ive also done that, is cus u lose, and they did something u dident clearly see or w/e u say they hack and believe me, most of the time they dont hack... ive also sayd against tons of ppl when i started with the game that they hack, now daily i get ppl pm'ing me and saying " reported u for hacking" ... or just raging and saying i shoundt be such a low life to hack this game and other bullshit,

and about the missions, true they are somethimes not that ballanced...  like legal fees, every enforcer is gonna agree its unfair, almost an automatic win for criminals, though, i have a rocket launcher now and have to say,  i win that mission quite alot now... but still, it takes ages till u get that rocket, so still an unfair mission, but alot of them can be done if u work together with your team...

the starter weapon sucks? the starter weapon is good, i have a character that is gold 4 ranked and never bought ANY primary weapon, the starter weapon is good enough to let u own anyone that u want, u just gotta learn to play with it a bit, and deffenetly isent underpowered cus it is a very good weapon... and for everyone that say like , they have better weapons cus they have mods for it .... im gold 4 and gold 1, and on the gold 4 i use star (with no upgrades) and on the 1 gold i use the shotgun i got from closed beta with no upgrades, wich u can prob already buy for 10 days if u play like 2 hours .... so if ur saying u get underpowered weapons... its just u that are a bad player and your enemy is just crushing u...

just gotta say this, ive never played rtw's apb, but i heard it whas good, untill it got ran over by aimbotters... now gamerfirst has it and yes, they aint doing THAT much, but they are doing things, i hear from ppl that playet the rtw beta and then later till it ended, and they say, gamerfirst has already done more than rtw did, the game is now a little decent, a lot of things might need fixing, but not that many major ones, ive been playing it for long now, and the fuss about there are still aimbotters. ... whel there are, but like 75% less than ppl think ...i swear i have never aimbotted on it, and yet, almost daily i get hackusations.... almost every day, there is someone saying that i use aimbot and that they will report me ... but i rarely see aimbotters, altough ive seen like 10 maybe, in my entire apb career since closed beta (gamerfirst) and with them it whas obvious, they snapper while shooting and just knew constantly that u where there, and i have to say, 7 of them 10 are banned, already checked it and its true, there banned, ... now i know what u think (hypoteticly) , "wont they just make new accounts? its free to play..." true, but ive heard that they register the ip of the person, wich then they later ip ban if they ever try again, and yes, again u can have an ipchangher and w/e, but yeah....

i just wanne say... play the game, its not that bad, and ppl talking about lag? ive got onley like a normal pl setup, not to heavy and not to weak, and im having no problems with playing it, constant 50ms and maybe a server spike like once in like a day, like 2 secs 600ms ... so just saying its good enough, i love playing it, though it needs work, but not as much as alot of ppl are saying...
