pre-ordered from GAME : April 2011. 07.27.2011 code redeemed (thanks to the UK having their codes sent out days/weeks later than everyone else) No email for me and only the one wave left (according to Twitter) I definately will not be pleased if I have to wait longer tbh. On a nicer note, GAME mailed to say my game has been sent out today and should arrive Wednesday/Thursday (as to register the game/setup accounts when/where applicable prior to the 20th) |

I thought we would get more updates and content!
General Discussion « Age of Empires Online 11/17/11 11:27:02 AM
Just as an FYI, the Skirmish booster was delayed to December (at the earliest) due to many things; most notibly the amount of stress caused in the 4v4 :)

Thread bump and to quote your "before you inquire" link @ http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/12267/Before-You-Inquire.html - I know your likely to get alot of mails but stating a fast reply when over th span of 2 years of me asking via that form, there has been no reply (as per my OP as well) So is anyone alive? |

Been wondering for a while now why that game does not have a page on here? I can safely say that I've asked twice via email (to which theres been no reply) and also had a developer (the quality assurance manager) ask twice as well, again no reply. Is there something about that means it doesn't belong here, that I may have missed? |

Yeah Lanti and I went back years, very close friend and a shame at his passing away, really was.
I do still hope that it somehow gets to carry on, but this CSR stuff has to change if its to even show a glimmer of hope now. |

Tis a shame us ex-Jolt people aren't there anymore, might've been able to have changed this before it became a problem :( I personally know quite a few of the CSR and its saddening to read this stuff, although a select few I can guarantee wouldn't be involved with anthing like this, and a few that alarm bells go off in my head instantly. |

Hmmm I thought Age of Empires online would attract alot of players

I quite like it tbh. Chat needs an overhaul and a moderator system in place to deal with the spamming. But all in all I like it. :) |

Game causes many pc user damaging overheating crashes
General Discussion « Age of Empires Online 9/24/11 1:10:48 PM
Mike what's your system specs, maybe we can help identify the issue(s) :) |

I'd be back if that happened tbh, sadly I can't see it. I too am very outspoken and it really is a case of "if your face fits" (this is from an internal viewpoint) I by no means dislike anyone there, its just some seem to get ahead by pushing others aside and "brown nosing" so to speak; leaving honest (maybe too honest?) others like myself to just "deal with it". Ryzom was my first MMO and I hope it does eventually get to where it should be, but things have always had to change and they just don't. Its sad really, we at the Jolt team (that once was) used to have so much drive in game, kept pushing the devs to go for more, now it just comes across as "we'll make do and hope something good happens" which just isn't going to. I do hope you get things sorted Nazak as anything such as that should be dealt with professionally and incredibly quickly. If you can't trust support, then who can you trust? :) |

I'm one of the Ex-Jolt lot and its disturbing to read things like this, it really is :( |

Game success vs Customer Support - The Old Republic
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 4/15/11 2:06:51 PM
As someone who does CS in games here and there I personally try to remember/have access to every issue old and new; but that might just be me trying to make sure I'm updated with everything :) @ the OP, I too alwas look for good CS in the games I play, call it a pet peeve if you will, just something that also annoys me if they really just have no clue and/or take das to reply. I'd personally love to get into CS with Bioware and such, but I would imagine they'll take a similar route to other more larger companies and go with onsite reps. This might ofc be a double edged blade with there being fewer people (needing to be on-site) as opposed to volunteers working off-site through Snr GM's and such. Time will tell :) |

Have you decided on your class?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 4/11/11 5:37:04 AM
Sith Inquisitor (Sorceror ADV. Class) for me, 100% healmachine. |

- - - - - - - - - - #2 Theres no right or wrong race, its down to personal taste and playstyle; what suits you best. i.e. if you love playing smaller characters you might want to try out the Tryker. Want some large, thin blue coloured people then head for the Zorai.
- - - - - - - - - - #3 Each race does have its initial "leanings" towards a certain faction (faction points apply here) however you can choose whichever of the 2 you desire; or just remain neutral to them both, entirely down to you. - - - - - - - - - - #4 No player looting whatsoever. - - - - - - - - - - #5 You decide wether to engage in combat yes. There are however certain parts of certain zones that if you tread into its area, you will be automatically tagged (arena type places, clearly marked) - - - - - - - - - - #6 Crafting is probably one of the best parts of the game (second only to spell/skill customisation) You can learn every single profession and every single blueprint/pattern/plan given enough time. - - - - - - - - - - #7 The Community, what there is left, (rememeber this game came out the same year as WoW and has had some serious troubles since then) is pretty darned great :) - - - - - - - - - - Tis the one single aspect that kept me there for as long as I was, sadly that wasn't enough for me in the end. Saying that though your highly unlikely to find anywhere else with such a "tight-nit" comnunity. Hell even veteran's create alts specifically for helping newer players, you wouldnt get that on many other MMO's. - - - - - - - - - - #8 There is player housing and guild housing, costs alot but the currency in Ryzom was made specifically eas to get (to fend off gold sellers and the like, getting money shouldn't be a chore in ones online life) Hopefully thats some help to you Shadan. :) |

palas and droods (Hybrid classes)
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 3/24/11 12:36:00 PM
Super! Now I worry about stats, specifically accuracy and such. Do we know of/have seen much regarding that? As I wouldn't want to spec my AC for heal, yet in order to have fun and DPS (where healing doesn't appear necessary) only to find I can't hit anything :) As long as I have something useful to do other than 1 button spam heal, I'll be happy. |

palas and droods (Hybrid classes)
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 3/24/11 6:29:21 AM
I'm a healer in every MMO (whether I want to or not in most cases) So Inquisitor 100% healing will be for me via the AC. I'm just hoping that it doesn't get too boring, too fast. One major complaint I had in WoW was literally standing there, pressing heal and repeating (which they thankfully changed a bit with better, more "free moving" fights) Judging by the PAX gameplay vids though, it seems a bit on the "stand still and range" side of things. We'll see anyway, I'll still be buying it regardless :) |

Indeedy it does need an overhaul for content, but with the errors atm its just not do-able sadly :( |
