Why do you Hate Fantasy Gear so much??
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 12/08/09 10:54:56 AM
The problem that I have with over-the-top fantasy gear is that you don't get all the gear at once. In order to keep that from sounding like I just want everything at once, I must point out that it's more a concern of aesthetics. I don't like the look of a bunch of gear that are not of the same theme and are essentially patched together. So when you have some massive pieces of gear with one theme, other pieces with another, and then gear that's not so flashy all on at the same time, it leads me towards distaste. Then again, I'm pretty tired of the fantasy genre at this point, and am glad to see that less games are becoming typical high-fantasy. |

Not in the slightest. |

So there may be good and bad Bounty Hunters and Smugglers??? |

I've had this problem from time to time myself, but the issue has seem to fade for me. |

Also, Han was working for the Hutts before he joined up with the rebellion. |

"Good" and "evil" are morality decisions for the individual, which are not dictated by the faction one would choose. |

Cool beans. I'd be tempted to sub if next week wasn't finals and I had money. |

Does the Kraken (and ships still) turn on a dime? |

I don't believe so, and I can't back that up. |

I'm curious to see the results. |

Honestly, I'd expect smugglers to have a first aid kit. |

That is a good part though. |

People's bits and pieces wouldn't scare me from this game. |

"That's my stuff and no you can't see it!!!" Privacy a word with no meaning in mmos.

I'm skipping the majority of posts to throw in my simple idea (and no I don't apologize if it's already been said). There should be a skill set in game that allows one to be able to recognize the power of gear. Similar to how some people could recognize the stats of various equipment (weapons, body armor, etc) just by knowing what it is. |

Eurogamer hands on with SWTOR 3/12/09

Eurogamer has lost all credibility for me. That's before I wonder how a quest can't be on par with "go x, kill 10 y." |
