i dont play wow but i agree with you

I'd love either Dune or Mad max as someone posted before.

I remember to play many years ago (dont remember how many), i dont remember that much about this game,
just know that u had to survive, there was some kind of earthquake, building were falling down, u had to looking for water and food to survive.
i really dont remember much, is someone able to figure it out with just few hits?

so it was like we are back to be like a cave-man, so we have to start all from the beginning
no weapon, no food, no store... all have to be make by players
image to have a game where player takes time to invent things

i remember i was doing a group quests in lotro and we were dying to come back to the city fast,
i was hunter so i didnt need that much but i used it even in solo play. i didnt play other classes.

also i was fighting careless, i was never worry to die.

so i think something was missing.

i dont have much time to play now, so i wouldnt like to have a big penalty, but a little exp lost should be a must imo.

Oh god too many topic about what game failed or is falling or is gonna fail.

with all of this game cooming out... people will change game so fast that i think they are not gonna make any mmorpgs ever
i know there are game that are not good, or u could not like but that's

i dont want even talk about that
I just want to know how many people think it is correct to use the word fail

if i dont buy it today i have to wait till wensday... so for 40 euro i guess i'll take it...

than i will buy the nvidia 9800 gt, it's not really expensive

my card was 8600gts

I'll get that but im not sure i can get the money back, it's just a small store.

my graphic card just broke down... i fried it up i guess, i checked the temperature it was going up to 52 T_T

i live in a small city the only card i can get before the beta start is the ati x1550

is it good enought?

tnx a lot

Leveling should be as fast or slow as it needs to be to keep the game feeling fresh.   If the leveling is going to be really fast, there better be an endgame worth playing.  Personally I enjoy leveling up the most because it involves the most exploration, the most learning and character development, which are the best parts of an RPG.  Endgame basically means repetition anyway.

Normally when I read, "I reached max level in X number of days, its normally followed by, "...but the endgame sucks or ...I'm bored". Thats when I realise that person is an idiot because they were rushing=)  Then where they bitch about how fast it took or how boring it was.../facepalm.

that's what i was saying, lot of people rush that much that most of the times is really hard to find group to explore everything
as u know many times u need group to go in some hidden places.

It's sad that many times i had to skip some (problaby) fun quests and visit some place because i couldnt find any group even if i was looking for hours, just because everyone was so busy to grind....

.... that's so sad.

i dont play that much because i work and i have life... wife, son, friends even tho...
ive got level 50 in aoc in a couple of weeks.

i'd like to play a game where i can never reach as u said the end game, where i can always improve,
specially where not everyone wear the same gear got from the same raid :P

I dont think is good for the company to make level that fast...
i paid lotro for 8 months... i played too much at the end game.

i remember people have 6 alt.... i cant i like to have one and have stuff to do forever...

people are too busy talking about which game will fail next...
lol so annoying that...

many times i read
"It's fast to level, i got level 25 in few days" or "the grind is good i got lv 15 in a couple of hours"
like that is a good thing.

I dont really understand why, why do i have to reach the level cap that fast?

I played and loved lotro, but many times it was really hard to find group for some fellow quests because you dont need them to level up, u can solo all the way up, but those quests are really great and fun, people dont know what they are missing?

people are always saying that lineage 2 is too grindy and there are not quests, talking to a guy (never played myself) he told me that people go around and group to explore, kill bosses and get good rewards even tho there are not quests.
if it is like that, it sound fun, doesnt it?

i really got bored once i got the level cap in lotro... all i had to do was to raiding to get the change to roll for better (and all the same for anyone) gear... boring to me
Playing aoc... the same...

anyway do u care more to reach the top level fast or to enjoy the game?

sorry if my english is not perfect

ive been playing mmorpg for a couple of years... but i dont think i am an expert about that
so i'd like to ask some questions

the games i played for long time are guild wars, lotro and now eve.
then i tried most of the games vanguard, wow, city of heroes, war.

many times i read stuff like "the grinding is not that bad, ive got to lv something in short time"
does it make any sense? if that means to skip most of the stuff and reach end game so fast i guess it's wrong
people complain about korean grinding game, but i guess people really enjoy l2 end game with the castle siege, or not?
im so disappointed about lotro at the end game i have to repeat stuff over and over and over and actually the game can be totally grinding, every place u go the first quests are about killing a tot of something or get a tot of something, u can reach the top level and not doing any group quests (that most of the time are so great, but so hard to find a group).

my real question is for someone who played mmo since the beginning with eq1, uo, daoc and other
if u compare those game to the new ones do u think they are all grinding?
did i really lose a great experience by not playing with those game that i cant have with new games?

about l2 i couldn't play this game, just for short time, i know there are not quests
but there are many places u can go, it's not like f2p games with really small area, so what make people go around?
what make the people what to explore all the world?

othe stuff i'd like to know... i see many people hate games,
for example aoc, i bought the game when it came out but i didnt play, i didnt like
now i played again and i have to say that it's nice game now, but the most important i didnt go around all the time saying how bad this game is, and i dont say that wow sucks just because i play lotro, or something like that...
i mean there are many games around there and many people play and enjoy even small games is there anyone else that doesnt hate any game? i dont know if i will play aion or not but i dont care to write in a forum why i think that aion will fail or stuff like that

sorry for my mistakes
im not native english

id like to try this game too
if anyone can invite me

fabrizio.agate@hotmail.com

lotro is great for u
everything u are looking for is there

great
i'll join if possible

I am italian and i live in korea
but i dont eather speak or read korean...

ive got the beta key for the eu version... but i really dont like it....
in the beta ive already seen a lots of country name's guild
i dont really roleplay but that's too much

are they gonna be oceanic server in the usa version? so it would be in my same time zone

tnx

For now I am playing lotro and it's really nice game i relly like it,
i'd change something... but what can we do...
in the last six months i played just that...
i was wondering if there was a nice pvp like warhammer
or something nice that i can play this summer
in lotro i enjoy a lot doing quests with other people, talking each other, working together
in warhammer seams everyone play alone and most of the time there is no contest in rvr
is there any other game that u have to fight for a castle or something like that?
maybe u guys know a game that i dont know
sorry if there are many posts like that and for my english
tnx for the help

im not looking for just a not fighting class

im just looking for a good game where u don't have just to fight

with other nice thing to do...
