TOR would have been awesome with a lot of SWG. My husband and I were really looking forward to SWTOR, but were totally let down. Seems to us anyways that they put  way too much emphasis on cinematics and voice overs, and didn't bother adding enough substance to the game. For being a Star Wars mmo, we really expected a lot more, but instead it felt more like playing a console game.

I don't know why people expected TOR to be SWG2. At no point during its development was it ever even remotely promoted as such.

SWG was complete and total shit for the last six years. Just garbage. SWTOR is better in all respects except two. Space and crafting. That's it.

As it turns out your words were very prophetic as that is EXACTLY what some of them tried to do in the TOR forums. It was quite entertaining to see fans of a game that at best had 50,000 subscribers lecturing fans of a million sub game what is good. Now I don't feel too bad about what happened to them. But still, even the NGE has been the only game I have been addicted to, and there will never be a game like it again, which will keep me at it. SWG will always be my most played game in Xfire.

SWG started to die well before the NGE. It was losing subs.

If Zimmerman had had a criminal record, we certainly would have heard about it by now and if Zimmerman had been connected to Trayvon in some way the police would have launched a real investigation (if it had been drug related).

The fact that he not only called in Trayvon, but also remained at the crime scene implies that it was not likely premeditated. What really rules out first degree murder entirely is that Trayvon managed to get in a scuffle with the shooter before he was killed; if Zimmerman had intended to kill him he would have shot him before he got close enough to get the chance.

So now we're at second degree murder, tops.

 

 

Trayvons assault of Zimmerman prior to the shooting makes it VERY easy to argue that it was a voluntary manslaughter, since any combination of fear, panic and adrenaline are really sufficient to warrant a defense.

 

 

Therefore it's at most a voluntary manslaughter and at least self-defense. You and your friends can stop rallying against the hate crime of the decade, please. Although I'm sure any rational person in Zimmermans position would have done the same; had Trayvon been anything other than black it never would have made headlines.
