That's the opposite of eve. At any one point in time one has more realtime choices in games like wow than eve. Eve is a game of knowledge. You have one choice, to know more than your opponent. If you know less, in terms of knowlege, then you lose. This is a one choice mechanic. In wow, everything is realtime and at any one moment anything can happen that you will have to react too. This is just one example. Uo was the king of this. No offesnse but I don't consider jumping through twenty hoola hoops for x to happen as choices. I consider it beauracracy.

Good point dude, but here is a thing. AOC will have tons of ppl giving it a shot, just like every new release. All they need is a good launch and it will start pulling players from other games. Do they need every single feature to be out in public? Nope, word of mouth is better....having the forums bursting with great reviews is better. I really hope you arent right man, I have really high expectations for AOC, but, i m still playing EQ2 just in case it flops.

The concept is great, but u gotta think of a few things.  In the concept vs graphics, concept wins. We can see that by the fact that UO is still around, and Vanguard is dead, being revived by SOE atm...but graphics play a big part on it, and that, your game is lacking, from what i have seen.

I make the words of jack welch, the former CEO of General Electric, my words:

" If becoming number 1 or number 2 in your industry is not a possibility with your resources.....you should get out, and focus your resources in an industry where becoming number 1 or number 2 is possible"

Best of luck though, with a decent strategy, everyone has a shot.

How about deleting all classes, and making it an eq3? Use the enviroment, char models. delete crappy classes. Insert Eq1's class system. Bingo, THADAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EQ2 is the best game out there at the moment. I have left and came back many times, and i am staying till AoC comes out, and i will stick to it in case AoC flops like Vanguard.

I would love to see some siege stuff. Maybe some instances where guilds can capture fortresses and castles to earn stats and items, something sorta like in DAOC and Lineage 2. Just a separate zone, instanced, that would be sweet, it could be applied to all servers.

What is your guy's opinion? Or i am going crazy?
