Played Ryzom the most follow by Guild Wars. The poll doesn't have Ryzom as an option, though. |

I already have my sandbox - Ryzom. Nevertheless I'll most likely play Darkfall too. |

In my opinion Eve's fatal flaw is that it just takes too much time to become a viable participant. I've tried it around 7 times, lasting just under 2 weeks at the most. I guess it just isn't for me. |

Guild Wars is what you make of it. I played solely PvE for over a year. Now when I play it's usually just PvP. Many do both.
Nowhere is it advertised as a PvP-only game, so I'm not sure what the issue is? |

You should think of giving Ryzom a try. It's free for now, so I suggest you create an account and download it while you still can!
It's the best sandbox MMO out there in my opinion. There's so much to do and crafting is awesome. For a 4 year old game the graphics are breathtaking. You can check out my profile for some screenies.
Many descibe it as the game they're been looking for all these years yet overlooked for some reason. |

Because the developers didn't want to let you. As to why it bothers you, only you know that.
Problem solved. |

There is something seriously wrong with your PC, OP. Mine is nothing special and takes around 3-4 minutes to load. |

Considering you've played for 3 years now, one would expect you to know the rules. Just think about it logically. Did you honestly believe that ArenaNet wouldn't mind pointless swearing? If you didn't, then you still have no argument as the EULA is there for a reason.
P.S. A little punction in your posts would be nice, as they're rather hard to read. |

Well firstly, the fact that you find it unfair that you were banned for such offenses is rather laughable. EULAs are there for a reason. If you're going to call your characters silly names that are logically going to get you banned, then proceed to swear it's obvious you aren't going to be the most popular person on earth.
You do realise that silly little spam filters don't block everything? Misspelled swear words easily pass through the system. It may have even been something you said that they just categorise as swearing. On top of it all, it's not the actual word that's wrong, it's the intent behind the word. I think it's pretty logical that " **** " is a swear word. Whether you see the actual word or not the point is that you were swearing. The filter isn't there to end all spamming, it's a method of softening the "blow."
I have an idea. Instead of the playerbase adapting to you, try adapting to it. Unforunately for you you're playing ANet's game - not the other way around. It's not a democracy. If they say no, it means no. I happen to agree with them. |

I'm sorry, but you can't just assume that those figures are correct.
Secondly, the chances of someone with a problem posting is far greater than someone who is not experiencing a problem simply because of the fact that they are experiencing a problem and need help with it.
Also, I doubt Ryzom has 300 000 players all of a sudden (according to your math (2% = 6000 people). If it did it wouldn't have failed in the first place, so your numbers need a little work.
I'm not denying there's a problem, but the scale on which you're making it out to be is far greater than what it really is. I've never heard of such a problem in my life. |

The "many" people experiencing the problem is a very small percentage of the community. Why should the devs alter the client so that that small portion of people can play? Obviously there's some sort of conflict on your system with Ryzom. It's rather naive to think that they'd do such a thing. They're running a business after all. |
