Next campaign should have proffession like druid
Lion's Arch (General) « Guild Wars 2/27/07 9:24:09 AM
The Druid is a nice class to be...but using that idea would just be a copy of WoW. Something NEW and innovative needs to be added. Let's wait for GW 4's professions to be announced. I'm sure we'll see something fun to play.
I personally love new professions...they make the game alot more competitive. Instead of fighting a 5 other proffs u have to be ready to fight 9 at the mo. It's nice having a change and murdering unsuspecting victims |

Which MMO has most value for money?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 2/27/07 9:17:56 AM
Guild Wars is definitely at the top of my list. It includes so much for a one time fee, and the graphics are amazing. After that I'd say WoW. It has alot of content and plenty of people to play with.
BTW @ Cupertino GW does in fact contain features to search for a party...erm...Party Search. You should look into it some time. I also find GW alot more challenging than many other MMOs BECAUSE of the instances. There's no one to randomly help you when you're running away screaming for help, or to buff you as you walk past. It's all about your skill in choosing the right spells and knowing when to use them. |

Races Only For appearance idea, nothing else
Lion's Arch (General) « Guild Wars 2/18/07 2:03:23 PM
I agree with OP. Races would do absolutely no harm to the game, and would give it alot more diversity. Sure there are new hairstyles in each campaign etc, but you can't you can't use Prophecies' hairstyles in a new Nightfall character for eg. Adding races would make the game more fantasy-like...imho it would just suit it so well that not adding it would be stupid. I get bored of seeing humans everywhere. I get enough of that in real life

This topic is really funny imho...
The OP comes into a forum to whine about Blizzard for "MAKING" him play WoW. Absolutely no one told you to play anything in the first place, and because you didn't have the will power to resist you come here a flame the game. I mean come on, you can get addicted to almost anything. Coffee for example...should the government ban coffee? If they did I'm sure half of Earth's population would drop down dead from lack of energy. Now, because YOU don't like WoW anymore, they should ban it? If the game is so bad why did you play for so long. The problem with you is that the novelty has worn off and as a result you're telling Blizzard where to go to. That's pretty sad. At the person who says the majority of the 6 million accounts in China are gold farmers...you do realize that the gold farmers need customers. If so many people playing are gold farmers, and they obviously won't buy from each other, who then is buying their gold? There must be a very large amount of people playing in order to sustain SO many gold farmers don't you think? Plus...the majority of players don't even buy gold from farmers, so your figures are seriously in need of some adjustment |

what u think of people playing opposite sex in a mmorpgs?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 1/22/07 2:21:17 PM
Who gives a damn if a guy plays a girl char and vice versa? I personally have a few girl chars on Guild Wars because I prefere their emotes to the guys of their profession, their armour looks way cooler, n their casting actions or whatever you wana call them (jump up in air, call down fire from above) look way better too. The male elementalist is GW is just sad

Skill: Searing Flames
Observations: Personally I've had enough of Elementalists chasing after me casting this ever few seconds and there being no way for me to get away from it. Increasing its damage is the total opposite to what needs to be done imho. |

Race would be good old elf, class is elementalist/magician, and favourite weapon would be staff

Apparently CCP is working on something where characters will be able to step outside of their ships and interact with oneanother. I think this could be a turning point for Eve as many people will be drawn to it knowing they don't have to roleplay a ship in space

lol...I think I know what your problem with Hero's Ascent is. Saying 'Ranger LFP' is not near specific enough. Hero's Ascent has groups running specific builds...meaning you need to advertise which build you are.
FoW I never have trouble finding a party. It may just be that your profession isn't seen as a good farming profession. As for random arenas, that's something that's bound to happen, as it's random people you're partying with. The monk situation is a tough one...but why don't you try playing a monk to help others? If you don't like monk, many other people probably don't like it either, which is why you find there's a shortage of them |

I agree with the OP. A 4?! I'd like to know how someone is actually supposed to 'roleplay" in GW if GW doesn't have a specific theme. Sure, WoW has a more medieval theme, so you can roleplay to that accord, but Guild Wars doesn't exactly have one theme. People in Africa speak normally lol...and I can prove that considering I come from South Africa
Yes...the community could be a little nicer and roleplaying districts could help. The community obviously thinks VERY differently considering Nightfall is rated no 1 or 2 at the moment.... |

I have to say this about Auto Assault...
The Drive-In (General) « Auto Assault 1/17/07 1:00:17 PM
My mate was so stoked about getting the game because he's into machines and things lol...but anyways, he decided to play the trial and got the shock of his life lol. He said he got EXTREMELY bored. I can't say I agree or anything because I haven't played the game. I might try it for myself and see if I like it

Thinking about buying it... read here first...
General Discussion « ArchLord 1/17/07 12:55:13 PM
The OP seems a bit whiney to me. I say be grateful that the game is F2P once you've paid the initial $. Did you ever stop to think that customer service might be a little overwhelmed with subscriptions doubling recently?
I'm not saying that you should turn a blind eye...but maybe you just got off on the wrong foot |

People quit games for their own reasons. To put it simply...Guild Wars is made for people with lives. It's not meant to be played 24/7. That's why they ask you to take a break if you play more than 2 hours. Though I don't agree with bashing World of Warcraft, I think it's commonly accepted that the point of the game is to get to level 60.
If you think about it...there's no point to any game. It has no benefit to you except entertainment. If you find that entertainment in Guild Wars, congrats...if you find it in some other game congrats too |

You attitude towards other people is actually quite sad. Most gamers value others in their community and will be sad to see them leave. Next time try not embaressing yourself...and do a little something I like to call growing up! (Sad to see you leave OP ;) |

Not finding players because they use heros/henches is not a problem for me. I know I only do missions with people...and if there are absolutely no other people to join the party then we use heros as a second last resort...henches being the last. Try putting some effort into finding a party...and using the party search feature (I take it you haven't used this since you say you quitted since Nightfall and Party Search came on Winterday festival...

Personally I think some of your reasons for quitting are not justified. Sure, you get the random noob every now and then then that spams you or is rude, but you have to realise that if you are playing on the European server many people aren't good speakers of English, so what might seem rude to you could be a communication error. If you're on another server, change servers! Maybe it the country
Instances imho solve many problems that could have been created without them. For example, would you like to come across random people every now and then killing things you need to kill, such as monsters for elite skills? Explorer titles would prove no major feat as people could run around exploring while other people kill the monsters...The instances are a good way to increase difficulty too. The thing about people equipping random skills is something I've never come across in my 8 months. Maybe in noob territory, that I can understand...but a level 20 I don't think so If you have problems finding a party, use henches. I never have a problem finding a party unless I'm playing at some weird time of day which is probably the case for you. Guild Wars is an excellent game that was created to test your skill, not to see how fast you can level up and bash things once ur this Uber character. It's excellently balanced and will forever have my support. The fact that ArenaNet can provide something of such high quality for free is amazing! P.S Just be friendly to noobs (not in a sarcastic way), and many of them will change their tune once they realise you don't give a flying duck what they think/say. |

Hope this hasn't been answered before, but is the Anarchy game world instanced or not? I hate instances lol, so just wanted to check. Thanks
