The funny things is.. someone made a list of the things that Warhammer does better than WOW.

1. coloring armor ( Done in UO)
2. Public quests ( Done in UO)
3. Queueing for BGs from anywhere

So really, 2 of the 3 things that are better in War than WOW are things Ultima Online has already been doing.

Now let me ask you this?   If a game did something better than Warhammer, would you tell the devs of warhammer not to add it because "oh well, they did it first, I quess we don't get it".

There is a reason Warhammer servers are med/low and why box sales are plummeting.  It brings nothing worthwhile except for a dumbed-down siege system from its other game,  I mean how can you have controllable seige weapons in a 6 year old game and not include them in your new game.  boring.

Those things were in UO right, but only after WAR released blizzard thought of making them into wow

As far as in corcerned, when people talk about next generation, or steps beyond the norm

WAR is past and present, AoC is the future.

When i compare AoC melee combat, ranged combat, animations, character movement, atmosphere, graphics....all of it is better than WAR.

Makes me think....Funcom you released to early, you had nothing to fear.

I find it extremely fun to see all this fanboys come here and say bad about this game, at least we know the game is having success, they are feeling threatened, still, they only show how ridiculous someone can be over a videogame.

Just to make my previous post clear, in Europe and around all languages there are at this point 51 servers.

Just remenber that as far as I could see there were over 30 servers at least in europe, to make an estimate value one should have to know the correct number of servers in america europe and rest of world.

the guy must be dreaming or something, the game is thriving, i never saw so many servers at a games launch, not to mention that xfire reports games like WoW loosing around 25% of daily gametime to Warhammer.

I am certainly very disappointed with the situation, and lost my trust on this company. I'll probably wont buy the game anymore, maybe in the future when im sure the game works as intended

Im trying to insert my beta code for 2 days now, but the european war site doesnt let me, it says the service is unavailable, i cant also login on my account. Anyone knows whats happening?

well, maybe this update is not just bringing a whole set of diferent models, but some models improvement and character detail improvement, i mean, the way characters walk and run just seems so fake, so doll like, i hope to see some diference there and besides some minor graphical update i wanna see much better and realistic movement and jumping and animations, etc

Apparently SOE is adopting a "Funcom like" strategy, creating hype for something only to mislead people to return to the game, what a shame, i was really hoping for an improvement here, well then, another game to forget...
