It's funny. This has to be the DUMBEST post in the forums right now. Why? Because the OP is bringing up racism in politics. That right there is enough for it to be deleted. The moderators have deleted posts made by me before and I've received a warning yesterday for calling someone an ignorant retard. Yet, topics like this which are asking for flamers, racist comments, and tension between all posters are staying up. Wow, these forums.

This thread needs to be deleted. Racism is stupid and so is the OP for starting this. You can't base it on a low number of mccain supporters. Maybe I should go do a poll and see how many blacks are voting for Obama because of him being black, LOL. Na, that would be a dumb poll to do because racism is stupid.

P.S. I'm still voting Obama. I'm just sick of racism and religion playing in politics.

While I've yet to see any facts about a claim like this, it actually is not that far a stretch to believe.  I live in Southern Missouri, and while I know plenty of Obama supporters, I know more than enough McCain supporters.  My grandmother was even going to vote democrat if it was Clinton that got the nomination, but as soon as it was Obama she decided she was gonna vote McCain, and specifically said it was because she didn't want a black man in office.

My dad has always been a republican, but every time Obama comes up he talks down on him for no reason other than he is black.  I have an entire group of friends who refuse to vote for a black man.  Equally, I have a couple friends who are undecided and who might vote McCain, but for legitimate reasons.  And I have just as many friends who are just as strong in favor of Obama instead.

But it is not a far stretch to think that many people support McCain for the simple reason that Obama is black.

I think some white people are scared if a Black man gets in office this country may go crazy. Blacks thinking they control whites, racism playing the cards more then ever, etc.... Just my .02. I hope Obama gets in but I hope all of the African American community keep their cool. Be happy but don't start being racist towards us. I get dirty looks in my town from blacks all the time and I live in a military town. It sucks. I hate racist people, black, white, mexian, etc....Racism is for lozers.

There are a TON of new voters this year that are black above the age of 30 that have NEVER voted before in their life. Why are they signing up now? Well it could be because Obama has great points. Could be because Obama wants change. Could be because Obama will finally bring change and they don't want another Bush, sure.

However, I bet half of the African American population are voting Obama because he is black. I've heard people talk about Obama saying they are only voting for him because of his color. Finally, a black man in office. They can give 2 shits about what he represents. But he's black.

The race card can be played 2 ways my friend. I was once voting Mccain and now I'm voting Obama because I like what he stands for and what he wants to change in this country. I think the racist card needs to stop on both sides in this election. I think Mccain himself is racist. Who's to say Obama isn't racist against whites that are friends to the Afircan American community? lol. You don't know what's in his head. He's already talking about helping Africa out with tons of money that we don't have. Which I'm for helping Africa but the fact is, racism is stupid and it needs to stop.

Blacks can be racist

Whites can be racist

Racism is stupid

Drop it!

Btw, Precusor you're kind of annoying. Always posting links. I hope you read books to back up all of the media coverage you read.

Don't vote.

At first, I was voting Mccain. That was 8 months ago. Now I've changed my mind and hate Mccain and am going Obama.

This election sucks. My family is full of Republicans and they are very close minded individuals. They are saying don't vote on the more of 2 evils, vote on the lesser of 2 evils. My uncle said whoever votes Mccain has rocks for heads. He just think he's the anti-christ. See, that's how close minded republicans are. I will not dare even to begin debating with him and arguing with him politics. He reads all these books on the government, economy, and teaches world history in high school, lol. He's a little close minded when it comes to politics especially.

I think people need to keep FAITH out of politics. Alot of christians are saying Mccain isn't Christian. How can you let him in office? KEEP FAITH out of politics. Religion should not be put in politics. Politics are politics. It should be about running this country, not about who's Christ Like. None of us are and everyone sins. No one is perfect and no one follows the bible. People think they do, but really they don't.

In the bible it pretty much says keep religion from states. Meaning, keep it out of politics. It doesn't say exactly keep religion from states but something similar.

I'm a Christian and still think Bill Maher is HILARIOUS. He brings up good points but will still get stuck by lightning, lol.

Separation of Church and state is found in the bible, but only by example. The main example being the priestly line and the kingly line being separate.

The only way they are "united" is in terms of Law. The Law, which in the BIble came from God, is above all men, including princes. Subjecting all to the law, while when viewed from one angle might seem to be a unity of Church and state -- is actually neither, but an expression of LIMITED government.

As to no one following the BIble -- "the Bible" knows this, and Paul and the other writers discuss this fact at length. No one follows it because no one CAN follow it. that is the essence of Christianity -- all fall short. All are weak, all are sinners. That is why we need God to pick up the slack. Hense Jesus; hense the need for forgiveness; hense the Holy Spirt.

Now let me ask you a question. Why should 1 be forced to follow the ways of Christianity? Just because one isn't a Christian he/she isn't going to heaven? I find this to be false. I'm saved, I've been baptized, I pray every once in a while, and I always find myself asking for forgiveness. Grew up in a Christian School. However, I do think there are other beliefs that will get you into heaven. Christianity isn't the only belief.

If you really knew Hebrew you would know the bible has been translated to understand, however is totally different than the Hebrew version of the bible. The actual BIBLE itself is way different then the King James version. I hope for a higher place in life. I'm living and the belief that Heaven does exist keeps me going. However, I am not close minded.

I think one such as Obama shouldn't have to be a Christian in order to run this country. There are many religions and I think people should be allowed to believe what they want to believe (even if Christianity is the biggest religion known to man). My uncle use to teach bible classes. He's a GREAT preacher. Wonderful intelligent preacher. He actually said that a verse in the bible where it says "Women  something something men", I forget the damn line or verse. But he said to us last week it actually refers to women aren't suppose to represent themselves as men such as wearing dildos, lol. Ye, that's right. So, guess they had wood ones back in biblical times, lol. Bible is about believing. We all have hope that one day there is something more to look forward to. But the main question is, this is all based on faith. Do you really know what there is after this life? No, you don't. You just believe something in a book. Something that I believe in, something that many people believe in, however something that could turn up to be false one day. Who's to say God hasn't updated Heaven and that many things in the heaven aren't in the bible. Who's to say he hasn't created another world up there we don't know about? An afterlife if you will. I keep my mind open to everything. I can't wait to one day join others in Heaven. However, I always keep my eyes and ears open to everyone's thoughts, opinions, and beliefs on things such as Christianity and Politics. Those just being 2 examples.

I just think Faith needs to be kept out of politics. As long as that party stands for changing this country for the good, that's all that should matter. Remember, the president can't take Christianity out of this country. Only the congress can. Human isn't perfect and this world is corrupt. One day SOON God will come back for us. If (I hope so and believe so) the Bible is true. Remember, the bible is a book that you believe. A book where you must have faith in order to go by it. Without proof many find it hard to believe the bible.

OK, let me ask this.  Is it normal in a game to have three players attacking one player and have zero damage to the one player?  That is what happened.

The last time i saw a game like this was Diablo 2.

In this game you can't really notice heals being casted on a player. You get purple bottles thrown on a player as heals for just about every heal you throw on that player. So with enough Zealots for instance, the health wouldn't move. Our Heal over time is strong. Healers were probably on him

Who was it that said that WAR would fail after initial launch?  You're looking rather foolish right now, don't ya think? ;)

Don't know where you pulled that number from the last official number i've seen is 500k and all indications say it's been loseing players over the last few weeks.

Link?  Or are you relying on XFire numbers?

None of this crap matters until the free month is over. Personally, I cancelled, because I got to level 20, and found the game boring in its current incarnation, and also, I'm sorry, but I'm not shelling out 200 more dollars on ram/video card upgrades just so I can play Warhammer.

As intensive as Age of Conan was on my computer before I cancelled it too, at least when I put the settings on low on that game, it actually did something to improve framerates. No such luck with WAR.

If you really want to play I can get you 2gb ddr2 and a nice video card for about $70 that runs WAR fine :)

I have 2gb ddr2, and a GeForce 8600 GT. Pretty much every game out, sans Crysis and Warhammer, runs fine on my setup. Sorry. I don't see me spending 600 dollars building a whole new setup just to play one game, even though the thought crossed my mind when I started playing Warhammer.

Umm wait you first said it would take $200 to upgrade ram and video.

Now your saying $600 to play War??

Simply put if you're running 2gb DDR2 and a "botched" video card (I'm not familar with those) then all you really need is a $30 video card............

Or is this just the typical WAR H8r /Obama tactic of keep switching the bar believing your lies are true so you can always complain about something.

It's not about computer specs with war. People need to stop it with "what is your computer specs?" questions. It's Warhammers fault we are having lag issues on their game. Not ours. It's the luck of the draw. If your computer gets no lag, wonderful. I myself have 3gbs, 512mb NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT  Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz (2 CPUs), ~1.8GHz ...Which handles Most games GREAT in high settings, pretty much all games in low settings with no lag. I can play Lineage 2 in be in a pvp siege with 100 on each side (happened 3 weeks ago) on high settings, no lag at all. Get on Warhammer, I have lag spikes of up to 2 minutes at times with lag here and there.

If you really think it's peoples computers, that's kind of ignorant. Why does the game take up so much memory to run? Why does it close so slowly sometimes causing me to CTRL ALT Del the damn game? Memory Leakage my friend and that's on Warhammer's part. Once they fix it, I MAY just may consider coming back.

You have a built in graphics chip on your motherboard instead of a proper graphics card.

It's time to trade in your redneck computer for a better one I think.

I gave my 1,000 desktop to my brother because he didn't have a computer and he's borrowing it. I'm currently using a x205 series toshiba laptop that cost me 1,600.00.

Manufacturer:
TOSHIBA
Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz (2 CPUs), ~1.8GHz
Memory:
2046MB RAM
Hard Drive:
248 GB
Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT
Monitor:
Generic PnP Monitor
Sound Card:
Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Speakers/Headphones:
Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6000) (6000.vista_gdr.071023-1545)

Mind you, it's on a laptop that runs the games I mentioned in earlier in high settings, such as lineage 2, CSS with 70 FPS (not bad for a laptop), etc... with the shitty graphics on Warhammer, it shouldn't be having any problems. If Warhammer is new technology, we are in serious trouble in the mmorpg genre. Point is, this is a good enough computer where I shouldn't be getting any lag from a game like this. It's a Nvidia Geforce 8700m GT graphics card which is one of the best, so I don't know why you're even saying it's a redneck computer, ha. Laptops aren't as strong as desktops, nearly, but still. This is a gaming laptop.

I use to take reviews seriously 6 years ago when I was sitting on the toilet reading a gaming magazine. Nowadays, I don't. Because they all give great reviews on games that aren't great. All mmorpg's get 7.0+,lol.

9.0 is a little high in my opinion. Tbh, should be a 7.8-8.2. 9.0? That's almost perfect. Warhammer online is far from almost perfect.

You're right it's not about computer specs- obviously.  read the post slower maybe you'll understand.

On your other post will WAR lose players - more than likely

Will they lose 50k? Pulling numbers out of the air is useless.  Just as it would be for me to counter saying no they'll only lose (pick any number less than 50k)

The point of the thread is WAR has release numbers that show there has been a huge amount of people registered to play WAR.

Any gamer should be thrilled that a company making games has been successful in their latest endeavor.

Successful games give us places to play.

Successful games will greenlight more games from that company as well as others by attracting investors and proving to Board of Directors that this genre as well as other games in general are worth the investment being asked of them.

As a gamer I applaud Mythic/EA and all those involved regardless of my personal "issues" with the game.

WoW and Warhammer have paved roads for worse games to be released in the future if other companies follow these paths. Immature communities + cartoon graphics, w00t. Aren't we suppose to be stepping forward in technology and gaming?

P.S. I see you're eating and breathing Warhammer. I'm glad you enjoy it. =) Now like they said in the news, It would be nice if you go outside for a little while and enjoy the sun. Don't forget your shades. Seriously, it's great players like yourself are enjoying the game. Just realize alot of players aren't happy with Mythic right now for problems you're not encountering or reasons you can't explain.

Agreed. After the free month is up which is coming in the next week or so, they will lose around 50k+ players.

Fan boys can say I'm wrong if they want to. However, I'm just stating like I see it. Even though I didn't think the game was worth resubscribing for and I've just read in lots of forums people saying it's not good enough to resubscribe to; I still think the game needs alot more work before people actually consider paying for it. It's just too based on pvp. I didn't think I would ever say that... o.0 Plus the graphics aren't great at all and on top of that it lags like hell for many people with high dollar computers including myself....so ye...done with it for now. Mythic is working hard so I trust they'll eventually complete and fix their engine.

Looks like it's gonna be once again voting my conscience and going for Libertarian come-lately Bob Barr. At least when Obama bankrupts the country I'll never have to say I'm sorry, because I live in Connecticut and McCain doesn't have a chance here.

Now I have to watch this debate. Truly, things like that are what cost the republicans congress and what will now cost them the PRESIDENCY. Barring the thing with his wife, I find I really do like McCain. I like him a whole hell of a lot more than Obama. The whole thing with how Iraq was handled, and now the economy, by Bush and his administration has all but crushed McCain. If it has not been for that, McCain would not be pressured into doing and saying the things that he has and consequently would have been in a much better position.

As far as bankrupting the country, Bush seems to be doing a really good job. We broke the 10 trillion dollar deficit the other day, and they had to replace the dollar sign on the debt meter with the additional digit. And there is no reason for it whatsoever. The MBS, CDS, and other alphabet soup monsters happened on his watch. And he endorsed, and fear mongered, the bail out bill.

As, or more outrageous, is the fact that Iraq makes 79 billion in profit while it costs us 10bil/month. I am a firm believer that they should have paid fo
