Right now im at AMD Athlon 64 X2 duo core processor and was wondering if that is a stable processor to run this game.

2nd off, I have 450$ and am looking to purchase a nice video card to run this and needed suggestions on what to get.

3rd I am at 2 gigs of ram right now, how important is 4 gigs? and how much do you think it would run me to upgrade from 2gigs to 4?

I have never tried this game and it has caught me eye, I was just wondering if it is the right game for me -

- I like PVP

- I dont like brainless grinding

- I like indepth crafting

- I hate raiding

Do you guys think I will benefit from trying out Eve?

I am a returning player to DAOC, however I have no characters. I plan to roll on the most populated server (assuming the classic cluster) and will roll on any faction, it does not matter. So if any guilds out there wouldnt mind taking in a new/returning player MSG me!

My question to you guys is - Are there any decent ones trying out? And is it possible to go back to DAOC? Is it a ghost town now? How is the population?

I play on an RP PVP server on which (no shock I'm sure) there is little RPing of any sort other than some occasional attempt at RP-like seduction which makes one's skin crawl.

You clearly havent played on the TBC servers (coilfang). Its a WHOLE different story. Auchindoun/bloodfurnance/coilfang are all dead servers. Only people left on that server that HAVENT xfered off are guilds that have enough people to run stuff, any time of day you will not find a pug.

I know this may seem weird for asking, as it maybe to early to tell but, I have a question about CPU Requirements. My current computer is a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-core processor 4200+, with 2 gigs of ram, 250gb hard drive. My question to everyone here is, do you think I should just get a good graphics card this holiday season, or would a whole new computer be in the question? I'd like to be able to run this game well, without lag.

im graphic blind, it really doesnt matter to me. if mythic is gonna deliver what they say they are working on it will be a damn good game.

I remember how shocked I was when I realized my favorite MMO (camelot) was based in my town. Fairfax, VA REPRESENT.

I quit vanguard after my free month was up, but I am still wondering - are wizards still insanely OP? I played on the FFA pvp server, and I remember one night in the crypts (forgot exact name) around level 14, a wizard would come up to a full group and just aoe blast everyone for ridiculous amounts of damage and wipe us. Is that still the case? has that been nerfed yet?

Another thing I didnt understand - Why did guilds roll on a FFA pvp server but forbid pking?
