 Hello all, as you can tell from the threat title I just bought the game today. I figured it was a decent deal on ebay, so I grabbed the collector's edition for 12 bucks and a regular edition for my brother for 6 so I would have someone to play with. I was just wondering what the best server to start on, population wise, would be. I kind of wanted to do the pvp server, but I hear it's so barren it's probably not worth it. Can anyone give me any suggestions on getting started?

Sorry for the late reply, but I've been really busy with stuff in real life lately. Just got out of school and been hanging out with a buddy before he has to leve for nine weeks. I've played for France when I did play and was enjoying it, so I'll see if I can get in touch with you guys when I get on again. I'm a bit too tired to play at the moment so I'll be on tomorrow.

Oh, as for how I'm enjoying the game so far. I was trying out flight and I have to admit, it is rediculously hard. I really enjoyed it though and I'll probably be doing a lot of offline play practicing with the airplanes. Aside from the flight, I thought I was actually getting slightly decent with infantry in the online play. I was managing to take out at least one guy every life after a little while, but I still have no clue how to hit people from too far away with that rifle.

Sadly, I'm one of those newbies as well. I just heard about the game recently which is amazing seeing as it's been out for 7 years. I'm actually thinking about quiting AoC and playing this after the first 2 days although it is hard as hell to learn how to play. Just thought I would say that I'm loving the game and anyone who thinks they might want to give it a try should do so.  =D
