The five points all make sense to me however I feel that Cryptic are placing all their energy into STO and that Champs will take a back seat to that whether we like it or not. 

Seeing STO probably does not stand a chance against SWTOR then all is lost for Cryptic and my lifetime sub to champs was a foolish choice on my part.

I have tried so many and I have to say I dont have an all time fave due to the fact that my tastes change as time passes.

I started off in early UO and loved it for its ease to play but its complexity in other areas.  Sadly its expansions drove me and my fantastic treasure hunter away.  Long Live Lysander Threat of Trinsic .

But on the other hand(s)

DAOC's  RVR was fantasticly good fun.  Played it so much it cost me a girlfriend.

I thoroughly enjoyed PVE in EQ2 and  PVP in EVE (and rather liked mining although have no idea why)

LOTRO has a fantastic atmosphere

Age of Conan has the best first 20 levels of any MMORPG  EVER

Champions Online has the best character creation and variety of characters

I have beta tested and played many MMO and I have liked most of them.

Yep Champs is getting better day by day and was pretty damn good to begin with.

As far as the Zombies and werewolves are concerned one of my main chars is a robot.  How do they infect a robot with Lycanthropy?   Nevertheless they are going down  DOWN DOWN

Steam are still not mentioning pre-orders which means there are slipping behind the opposition at Direct2Drive as they have a pre-order which carry some extra perks

I am not concerned about Fileplanet's Involvement (being a subbie) I do however dispute the word Exclusive seeing I have been awarded a Betakey from another source.  That means that it is not exclusive from the perspective of beta keys but probably means that Fileplanet will be the only place to get the code from.

I think my FP sub runs out soon - bet it expires the day before the beta file download becomes available - Grrr

I rarely judge a game from a first glance perspective but from the header pic of that game and the text on there I can only assume that it is not worthwhile.

Its not exactly exclusive when some beta testers have already been allocated slots for Beta Keys planned for early August.

All characters start the same is listed as a con when I think that Scarlet Tortage is by far the best thing about the game.

I have been through Tortage with all characters during beta and release and it has been brilliant every time.  After that things tend to get dull.

I did specify EU.  Guess they could have sent the wrong one but google indicates that there are a lot of users with this issue some of which are in the EU and some are in the US so perhaps the keys have got mixed up at source somehow.

Kinda given up on it now.  The beta test is now of NC Soft customer service and not Aion.  Will keep the beta key in case they sort it out.  I
