Whatever the new game is, I hope it doesn't use the piece of crap AC/DDO/LotRO engine. It stutters and no building interiors (without zones) irritates me to no end. Sadly, if work already begun I bet the new game will use the same engine. It will almost certainly be a near LotRO (WoW) clone since that worked out so well for them. |

I highly doubt it's another AC, it seems too soon for that. I know they have expansions planned for DDO and LotRO. |

I don't want to waste money on private school if I ever have kids. I went to all public schools and it was a good experience. I turned out fine. I got a BS last year, now I'm working on a MS this year. The home environment and parenting are what matters most. |

Sorry, Riki, there is a lot of prejudice against Ninja's in this world. It's best you learned it early. |

Not really a massive patch, the level 8 spells, epics, and new loot are still "in development." |

As long as you aren't playing on DT or VT, you shouldn't have any problems finding some friendly people to help you. It's true you won't be able to group with them at first because of your level. Leveling is really easy now though. I know a guy who started playing a week ago and he's level 70 already. I haven't loaded Decal in a long time, but then again I'm 275 and don't do much anymore. You don't need Decal to play, but it does make you more effecient. Bots are not complicated. Just tell them "help" and they will tell you what to do. For buff bots you normally just tell them your class (eg. mage, ua, sword, bow, etc.) and they will buff you accordingly. |

It's funny to still see posts about hitching. AC2 had a big problem with hitching. LotRO and DDO use the same engine as AC2. I remember playing DDO and LotRO beta, DDO had bad hitching, LotRO had it too, but not nearly as bad. The engine was one of the main reasons I never started playing DDO or LotRO. The engine performance used to be awful (it may be better now, I don't know.) What really irritates me the most though is the fact that I can't walk into buildings. Zoning into buildings sucks. I'm used to playing AC where I can just open a door and walk in. |

There is NO possibiltiy in the future that Turbine will bring back AC2. There IS hope that there will be another AC game, but there is no reason to launch AC2 again, it's old. |

Too bad none of the protests will have a lasting effect on scientology. The best thing that anon did was keep the scientology site down for a couple days. Again though what is the lasting effect? I guess they brought a little more awareness to the bad side of scienology, but it's not going to destroy it. |

Do you run any anti-virus or firewalls? Try temporarily disabling them. If that doesn't work my only other guess is your ISP is the problem. I played AC on Comcast Cable and Bellsouth DSL without problems. |

Do you use Vista? Anti-virus software on Vista blocks AC. Satellite internet also blocks protocols used by AC. |

You could try contacting Turbine, but I would just get another trial key sent to you by entering a different email address. |

If you're completely new, don't pick Darktide or Verdantine. Most DT players will not help you and VT has very few players. |

I don't feel like looking up a good source, but I'm fairly certain both Bluray discs and players cost more to manufacture. That either means less profit for manufacturers or higher prices for consumers. Bluray does not produce superior image or sound quality. So, what's the point? |
