As for the actual original post, I'm not a numbers guy so I don't know how effective you would or wouldn't be. I'd say redirect this in question form over at the official 2Moons forums. I'm sure someone could tell you whether you'll be at a disadvantage. |

"The IP in question, listed by wikipedia as 69.120.111.23, also made a series of other edits to different entries, including former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler, current WWE star Chavo Guerrero, basketball star Ron Artest and HBO series The Sopranos. Many of the edits were misspelled or explicit in nature, leading one to believe that the postings were made by a hoaxer. For those of you who want to read the edits for yourself, they can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/69.120.111.23. If you click the links listed as (diff) you will see the changes made by the user highlighted in red, even if they have been removed from the wikipedia entries as they currently stand. |

Originally posted by Rikimaru_X According to the investigation it seems to be all too true. As I've said on another forum, I'll always respect the sacrifices he made in the ring, but as a person his image has been forever tainted and I'm not sure I'll be able to look at a Chris Benoit match/interview the same way again. This whole thing is just so surreal.

Movies that brought you to tears...
Off-Topic Discussion « General Discussion 2/20/07 1:12:06 AM
Originally posted by modjoe86I don't think I've ever openly cried but I know there are films where I've definitely fought back tears. Million Dollar Baby Adaptation. Big Fish Awakenings Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head that I know for sure I got the watery eyes watching. There are some others that I'm unsure whether I did or not, so I chose to not list them unless I distinctly remember. Edit: All four of the fore-mentioned movies? Great great films. |

It also didn't help that the kid got ridiculed too, which was just icing on the cake as far as not wanting to ever do it myself goes. |

Originally posted by starman999What does Joe Rogan have? A television show on a major network? A color commentating job with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, undoubtedly the most popular Mixed Martial Arts fed going today? UFC 66 drew over a million Pay-Per-View buys. Yeah, he really has nothing going for him.... Or he simply has the balls to stand up and say something when it needs to be said. At first I thought Rogan was just an ordinary asshole, but the more I read stuff by the guy and hear him on various radio shows, I think the reason I originally felt that way is the simple fact that he's a straight-shooting sonofabitch who's not afraid to tell you what's on his mind and be himself. |

Outside of jokes, I think the term emo is pretty useless. It gets attached to so many things that the definition is skewed every which way. I mean, my hair isn't in between short and long because I want to be emo or fit in with a group of individuals. It's because I like the way it looks and girls seem to as well. And if you consider yourself emo, than more power to you. If your crap doesn't interfere with my crap then you're a-ok in my book.
As far as this wrist-cutting business and whatnot- A stupid fuck is a stupid fuck. That doesn't make him emo, but rather a stupid fuck who happens to be emo. It's the same way with every other generalization when it comes to race, religion, politics, and interests. Edit: For anyone who wants to read a little about the origins of emo (music) instead of basing opinions on stereotypes - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emo_%28music%29 |

Originally posted by Veiled_lightShaun of the Dead was a film that I thought was funny but it's not really "laugh-out loud" funny. This isn't because it wasn't good, but rather the type of humor involved. For me it was like "This Is Spinal Tap." I think it's a great film and there are moments where I'll laugh aloud, but for the most part I'm just grinning or laughing on the inside. Same way with my favorite animated series (as if you couldn't tell by the avatar) Home Movies. If it can keep me smiling, it's doing something right. All in all it comes down to your sense of humor. We're all certainly different. If we weren't, there's no way in hell there would have been a sequel to Big Momma's House. Or six Police Academy sequels.... And with that said, I enjoyed Shaun of the Dead (3.5/5 imo) and I'm looking forward to Hot Fuzz. =] |

If any of you haven't seen or heard about this, I highly recommend you to at least check out the video.
Here's an excerpt from the entire matter from Joe Rogan's blog, which you can find here: www.joerogan.net/main.php You''ll have to scroll down a couple entries to see it. "I had a set at the comedy store Saturday night, and after I closed, I was bringing on the next comedian, a guy named Kirk Fox that works for Carlos Mencia. I introduce him saying that he's a funny guy, and that he opens on the road for Carlos "Menstealia." That’s the name we call him at the comedy store, and of course Carlos doesn't like it one bit. Carlos was apparently in the room when I said this, and the perfect combination of ego and timing made him decide that this was the night to put his foot down. As I got off stage and headed towards the back of the room, he grabbed the mike away from Kirk, and said that I was too much of a pussy to say that shit to his face. Which to me, is something akin to the hottest girl in the world daring you to fuck her while you're standing there in her bedroom naked with a boner. Of course I had to disagree with him, and I decided to get onstage with him and have this "meeting of the minds" as it were. On video, and for the whole world to see via the internet. Shazam!" And here's the video: video.google.com/videoplay Say what you will about Rogan, but the man has balls of steel to call out a well-known comedian that has basically been living off of other people's material, and not only get banned from The Comedy Store as a result, but also get dropped by his agency who also happens to have Mencia under their umbrella. |

Elementalist - Cheeto Fighter - Dorito Scout - Frito I'm thinking of doing some swapping with the classes, but I'm sure most of you will see the pattern of the names I'm using in Beta. |

Originally posted by daikoniteI think it's a mixture of the community and the game itself. I mean, when you control three characters, you aren't giving the usual solo player any reason to socialize with anyone else. Someone did randomly talk to me during the tutorial though, and we added each other up on the friends list. Hopefully you'll come across some social people sooner or later. That or you just start talking to random people and hope you don't get blown off. |
