Yep, MMOs went mainstream and now are not even MMOs any longer. Just single player online games. I think they ruined everything in MMOs not just PvP.

I am watching the game but I won't get excited about any game after SWTOR. I don't believe any hype of any game now before it gets released.

Yep took me forever to patch even though I have decent download speeds. Of course I was doing a lot of other stuff on my system but the patcher needed to be restarted all the time, it would pause!

I will check it tonight and make sure there isn't a new patch.

Hate to say it but after the SWTOR scam I won't believe any DEV until their game is out.

I went back to Rift for my 3day free event and I didn't see anything that would make me stay.

They have however added a lot of new tools and features that are great for a thempark game, but not what I wanted to see in a MMO I will play.

I am glad the OP likes the new changes to the game.

Since WOW put in BGs my gaming experience has been about 5 out of 10. Games are to easy and boring with more and more fluff; less gameplay and content. MMOs now are just online console action adventures, everyone forgot what MMOs are suppose to be and combined them with other game genres. It has killed the true MMOs gaming experience for me.

A few have been fun to level to max but when your end game is grinding over and over your MMO fails (MMOs are not suppose to be about endgame or have an endgame!). I am probably done playing MMOs because there is no longer a challenge or community in MMOs today, and this is from some old bastard who started game before most of the current gameers where born.

The demo is the reason I won't buy the game. Pretty much not any type of RPG I want to play. I like my RPGs more in depth and not so easy to play. There was no challenge in the demo and the combat was more for an action game than a RPG, not tactical enough. The targeting was terrible and shield is pretty much useless with the OP dodge mechanic in the game.

If I wanted to play God of War I would play God of War, this isn't an RPG.

And I can't believe the story was so bad given who wrote it.

Interface isn't PC friendly, defiently a console game.

Right now TSW is just a filler if other games fail. I don't really like the PvP changes last year.

LOL...Didn't even realize it was Sanya until the end. Don't stop doing what you are doing! The game will be great with the testers you have already!

The game sucks at every level!

Story isn't even good compared to other story driven games done by BW.

They have more issue with the game and EQ did at launch.

Loading screens ever where you go with small populations in instances. I play MMOs to play with people.

PvP I think everyone knows about already.

Game was at its best with the Aug build. Only has gotten worse with every update.

To many issues that never got fixed from Beta and still not fixed.

Game worlds are to small and completely on rails.

By definition it isn't even a MMO.

Might as well play DDO if you want this type of fully instance game.

I vote FFXIV. I want to see the changes made since launch.

Don't care what class or race you play.

You can walk through any area you want, it's been said 3 times in here that it's not a zoning game it's seamless. If you want to get to the end of the map you have to walk through it or teleport.

We are not talking about zoning we are talking about freedom in the zones/map areas. And that hasn't be confirmed. I have seen a lot of videos and it can go either way from what I want to what I really don't like.

I think I was miss understood. I don't want to be forced down this path to this point to another path like SWTOR had. I want to be able to explore zones and experience the world. If it is a quest hub game, yes it isn't for me.

I was wondering about this myself. I know that there is no instancing and that the world is pretty much seamless but what we need to know is if I can go from Point A to Point Z without needing to go to B, C, D, etc to get to Z? I understand that we won't be able to climb everything are go across everything but I don't what anything close to Thempark.

Bethesda have even less experience than Bioware with multiplayer games. They might get it right of course but I want some kind of proof for that before I get hyped up, all Bethesdas good games have been single player only.

I agree. There's also the problem that Bethesda = buggy. If you look at companies that have moved from SPGs to MMOs, the bugs seem to multiply from one into the other. This would be bad news for Bethesda if they carried on that tradition based on their track record.

Sorry had to quote this. Bethesda games are buggy yes but they are also 1000X more advanced than any other game out there if you look at everything the games offer. Given that any other developer couldn't even make the games Bethesda can make I think they are allowed to have a few bugs to fix, which they do regularly.

I think the big problem with Bethesad making a MMO is people would think they are going to get the game experience of a elder scrolls game in an MMO. IMPOSSIBLE to do BTW! You will never have an MMO like Elder Scroll games.

I do think if Bethesda made a MMO it would be like they single player games, Unmatched by anyone else, other companies can't even come close.

However, most MMO gamers today don't like sandbox games which Bethesda is the master of single plalyer sandbox games. Of course they might be the ones to bring sandbox back to MMOs if all the sandbox games this year fail.
