Nope, Blizzard hasn't been an independent developer in many years, they are owned by Vivendi Games.

WoW is a clone of EQ, AC and all it's succesful predecessors.

WoW is a clone itself, therefore there is no such thing as a WoW clone.

I was thinking of buying this game, but I played in the Beta and the one thing that bugged me most was that you could only rest once per dungeon, and you didn't even get full hp from it, and potions where out of the question since they cost a fortune.

So has any of this been changed? I could live with only being able to rest once per dungeon, but atleast give us full hp from it!

It's being made by the people that made Everquest, the mold for every MMO these days. I really think and hope it will be an awesome game.

This sounds like a very serious guild with lots of potential.

I was wondering what kind of people you are aiming for in terms of location, I myself am from sweden, so I wouldn't often play the same hours that you would if you are all from the US. Is this going to be a US guild only or do you want people from all around the globe?

It's a damn expansion! Since when are expansions free?

And yes they are greedy just like EVERY other MMO company are, the developers probably care about the game itself, but the ones pulling the strings only care about the money, they improve the game to get more money, and that is VU Games in this case.

Some time ago i saw ads of Eq2 for old players to come back and try the game for 7days, now i can't find that.

Is it still valid? And if so where can i find it? I searched the official forums, but those are a mess.
