Well no surprise that Netdevil didn't make a deal with Ncsoft after they canned auto assault i think Netdevil holds a grudge lol. Codemasters are not that bad the do pretty well running DDO and Lotro they could of done worse im just happy its SOE.

AoC is nothing like wow...... gameplay,graphics,story line, control system, interface all completely different cant go into much more than that NDA. WAR ive not realy seen much about it, graphicaly it has the cartoonish graphics which is similar to wow i guess other than that dont realy see anything that makes it a clone. Both these games have the standard MMO feactures which countless other games have wow is no exception there name one orignal feacture in wow? wow is a warcraft themed game they spent more on pr/advertising than the game lol

According to CCP it will not be intergrated into the steam client it will simply have referal links to the eve-online site that will give the steam members a longer trial and other type deals so its simply being used as an advertising platform. You will still download the client from their website and launch it as normal but they did say the client might be availible to download over steam aswell but it will still launch seperate to steam.

Looks like its going to be  a good game like what tabula rasa should of been like lol.

Steam is horrible but i guess this will boost eve-onlines subcribers i mean its instant advertising to millions of gamers accross the world! only thing im abit worried about is eve-online laggs like hell when a system has a few hundred people in it, if the population increases too much we might find that all systems become like Jita. On the other hand it might force people out into low security space :)

Out of the nominated mmo's eve online stands out its just an amazing game and the update just boosted how amazing it is. World of warcraft in all honesty cant compete with eve-online.

Its far from state of art and i wouldn't say its the highest level of dev achieved and i also dont see anything WoW like so not a clone also to be blunt WoW took all the standard feactures from mmo's added the more popular feactures you see in the high end mmo's put a warcraft face on them and called it an orignal game..... plus the wow is quite ugly they should of spent more time on the engine and released a better game well.

On Topic if they do charge a higher sub for WAR they will realy have to offer something extra that makes it worth while.

It is and it is not fair i guess its something that the devolper of the game insists on, there reason for this is they want to have a local version of the game in each regeon to offer the best performance (IE they can sell it to more publishers and get money) So yeah its not fair that people keep making diggs at Games-Masters for IP blocking other regeons as they dont have a say in it. I also hear your comments on IAH against K2 however the license deal would be for regions (K2 has US/Euro I believe) whereas IAH cover most of English speaking Asia. These licenses cost many millions in USD so each company will want to protect their investment so I would expect some sort of IP blocking coming soon as the IAH version progress through betas to release.
