Diablo 3: Blizzard Removes RMT to Get South Korean Approval
News Discussion « General Discussion 1/14/12 8:01:33 AM
I love the idea of RMT. It will be legal and controlled. You might be able to make a bit off buck with your hobby. How is that not cool? |

No chance of that happening. The game has been taken over from Codemasters some time ago. You would have to start over again. I am not sure how the game is nowadays, but last time I tried it was unplayably laggy. Even their website takes ages to load. Shame really, as it was a lot of fun to play. |

Lord of the Rings Online: Rise of Isengard to Launch Beta Next Week
News Discussion « General Discussion 7/24/11 10:49:27 AM
Games on average are very much the same. It is not LOTRO's fault if you are upset about those things. Take a break if you feel that the mmo grind gets to you. No matter what, there will always be a level of grind, due to the genre. As for LOTRO itself, most people play it for the community, the helpful, friendly people. And the intriguing story it tells you. I do not see a reason to start hating on a game just because it does not give you the fun it used to. It is natural to get tired, bored with things. |

Lord of the Rings Online: Rise of Isengard Release Dated
News Discussion « General Discussion 6/08/11 9:06:01 AM
While I can see the point in the Legendary version for F2P players, for most of us VIPs, it's not that sweet of a deal. I'll see about pre-ordering once we learn a bit more. |

Lord of the Rings Online: Upcoming Raid Dungeon Detailed
News Discussion « General Discussion 3/03/11 4:15:04 PM
It is nice to see that they actually try to make the game fun. Many hours we have waited because of cooldowns. What is the point of that? Now if they would only take the same approach towards the rest of the game mechanics, we would be sitting on gold. |

I prefer my combat to be simplistic in MMORPGs.

I do not care much about the actual system, all of them can be learned. What matters for me is the customization behind the system. I love to spend my points, traits, perks, you name it. As long as you can have different builds for the same classes, combat is sure to be fun. |

Lineage 2 was really fun in that aspect. Also RF Online and Anarchy Online for me. |

I prefer mostly player skill. Nowadays I see games who cater to everyone and do not require much from the player. I like a challenge in my games and enjoy the learning aspect as well. It is fun to always look for new ways to better yourself and the character you play. In your Oblivion example, your friend does not get the lock picking. Well I say if he wanted to be a thief, he would have to learn it, and I am sure he could he choose not to because he can opt for auto-pick. But I suppose it is the way games go because they want more revenue and easier access for more people. An interesting topic none the less. |

How about we stop trying to blame one company or the other and just be glad that the game will go on as planned? |
