So let me get this straight ...

The Devs went INTO the game... and looked at it WITH the players...

Then determined that their weapon balance was SNAFU and tried to fix it ???

Clearly these devs have no idea whet they are doing, if they realised how Development is meant to work in MMO's they would have simply not logged in, dissmissed the concerns of the players and gone to launch the next week with a 2x price collecters edition and a 3 month minimum subscription.

With noob devs like this... the game may actually have a chance

Im still playing WH40K skirmishes and campaign mode almost every night since it released... I have everything else listed and then some.. but 40K has really got the hooks in me.

I will go without eggs and chicken if I cant verify it was free range, I stopped eating Macs, Burger King, KFC etc about 2 years ago because of this very topic... and again dont get me wrong... I miss my quater pounders badly!

I have one simple view... If we are going to kill animals to eat them, the very least we can do is give them the best life we can afford to while we grow them. To me that is nothing more or less than basic human decency.

You dont HAVE TO eat meat. I like it, I eat it and I will continue to... but I would survive without it, like we all would. So I try to ensure the meat I eat is as friendly to the animal as possible... as impossible as that is.

I simply wont eat anything that I KNOW has been treated poorly.

Im actually homeless right now in terms of an MMO.

I thought WHO was really good and the way Mythic managed to all but remove the grind... or at least turn it into a PVP grind was genius... for anyone who is relatively new to MMO's WHO was a godsend... for the rest of us it really was business as usual...

I guess Im just waiting to see what Champs and Marvel end up like... not even game to speculate on the new SWG... I default to the quote by the senior librarian in WH40K1... "hope is the first step on the road to disapointment"

I just got an email from a friend saying "OMFG UO is closing down for good"

So as a 6 year vet who no longer plays I was very surprosed and pretty skeptical because it seemed to be travelling along as per normal last time I looked in and there is no mention of it on the official site.

yeah no doubt but its still a fair chink of change at $970mil and I doubt many companies are gonna ignore a market of that size.

Id be more inclined toward the beleif that there will be some sort of merger between consoles and PC's not disimilar to the OP's post information.

People are not gonna work on a console and and they may game less on PC;s Ideally youd think a machine that could do both well would be the answer.

Will it be technically a PC or a console though ? Who knows.

Have u been in POTBS beta yet. Now that is the worst MMO i have ever played. I would rank AA second and possible TR third. If WAR and AOC turns out to be just as crappy, i might just throw in the mmo towel and buy an xbox 360.

I think POTBS is the biggest breath of fresh air to the industry in years and quite possibly the first of the next generation of MMO's. The level of innovation and risk with this title has not been seen since possibly AO or WW2 Online. Flying Lab have genuinely followed thier heart rather than following everyone elses ideas and they need to be appluaded for it.

POTBS is a very enjoyable game and I personally will be playing it when it goes live. Right now the biggest dilema I have is which other subscription to drop..... EQ2 or EVE..... I have so much invested in both but I want to play POTBS too......

Its a nice position to be in though......
