Personally, I've followed the hype twice (AoC and WAR), and I was greatly disappointed, and I was not the only one. Perhaps the hype around games makes the preassure on the developers too big that they release their games way too early..?

I feel exacly the same.

These games aren't 100% finish at all at the release. This is so frustrating... On my PS3, whem I buy a game, this game is completed. why not MMO's???...

I think what bothers a lot of people about Eve is simple.  The game does a poor job of defining goals and assigning motivation to tasks.  The game is what you make of it, and only what you make of it.  You have to either come up with your own goals, or join a corp and let other players define them for you.... the game doesn't come with any real pre-determined goals for the player.  Some people love this, some people hate it.

I agree at 110%, Tried the game with friend that wanted me to join them ... they gave my like 50M credits of something like that... them the only thing I had to do is to grind skills ... was extremly boring... combat are BAD and the harvesting terrible... and a game with no real goal is was to confusing for the any new player. I don't hate the game, It's just that I don't like it very much :P

I way prefer games with concept.. like LotRO for example.

1 = AoC is bad, Funcom Games are basically lames, To much instancing in zone, lack of content, bad pvp. etc etc etc. People was playing this game only because most players want a new `WoW` (a new game). So AoC was the test for them,... People played the first month them when back to their favorites mmo right after they realise that AoC have nothing long term to offert.

2 = Simply don`t go back to AoC

ROM is F2P ... if you can do some multi-boxing this game can become extremly fun for certain period of time. Give it a try

I agree,

8800 > 8600 in any spec.

Buy a 8800GT, not expensive and powerful card.

and SLI 8800GT > 8800GTX for less expense.

DOAC is a good one ... but DOAC is getting kind of old.

None of the MMO's out there offert THE ULTIMATE PVP SYSTEM.

Let's just hope for WarHammer!
