you can buy a prebuilt off of newegg for far less for same performance and also is upgradable. if you have a really tiny apartment or w/e and really need a console sized pc, you can get a smaller case prebuilt.wont be as small as the console pc, but it'll be far cheaper and easier to upgrade(not as much space issue). Anyways, you bought it already so have fun.It looks cool at least, and fits in living room easier.I heard they perform well and can handle most games on high setting.ign reviewed it recently, and it got a good review. |

witcher 2's combat is much differant then the first. It is more standard third person action rpg combat. The first was not that good, you hadda wait for that thkng to glow and press mouse button when it did.Witcher 2 is a MUCH better game then TW2.They are dif tho and TW2 is more open world, but shallow.Witcher 2 is more linear and story driven, but much better done and much better story, characters, production values. |

What's everyone playing right now?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 8/23/11 12:19:48 AM
No MMOs atm, might get back into WOW I dunno.I'm playing fable 3, the witcher 2, and starcraft 2 a little. Before that I played CiV 5 a TON.Deus Ex looks cool, I'll prolly play that soon. MMOs really need better gameplay, it's like 10 years behind singleplayer games.Better combat would be nice.Oblivion style combat or even what guild wars 2 is ganna have would be nice for a change.AoC and DnD combat don't really feel right. No weight behind any attacks or anything. Also, more mmos need a real fully realized world like WOW has.WAR, AoC, Rift, etc all just have bits and pieces of a world you can goto and have very little diversity in environments.Despite it's flaws,WoW has great world design.Feels like I'm actually in a fantasy world. You can go from one end to the next all seamless with every land type transitioning from one to the next.Theres trains zeppelines and flying animals for travel and few load screens.Towns, outposts, villages etc with npcs all over doing stuff.Makes the world seem like a living world. |

Hacking happens most with WoW because it's by far the most popular sub game, not because blizzard doenst care. You can buy an authenticator for 7 bucks and you get a free in game pet.Or you can get an authenticator for free from them if you have a mobile phone with internet. My account was hacked once before I had an authenticator, and it was very easy for me to get my account back AND ALL of my items and gold my character had and they even gave me free gold and heroic dungeon tokens (forget what they used to be called). I would say customer service is great for WoW, esp considering how huge the game is.They even have sticky threads in the forums that tell you what to do if you got hacked. |

When was the last time you were awed by a game?
General Gaming « General Discussion 7/19/11 11:02:00 AM
The last game I played that awed me would have to be Civilization 5.That game is so addicting. Before that Mass Effect 2.Currently playing the witcher 2, and although I wouldn't say I am in awe of it, it is a great game. Also, I was in awe of Final Fantasy 14...............in awe of how terrible it was. |

It's pretty easy to find what's been changed. The game is listed on this website. All you have to do is click on ff14 in gameslist and click news.As for wether or not it has a monthly fee, currently it still does not. IMHO, the game is still terrible. The game is fundamentally terrible and needs a total redo. The world is bland and copy pasted terrain all over. There are no towns.villages, etc other then the capital cities. The classes, abilities, combat, etc is boring. There are no real quests other then the very infrequent story quests and the few they just added in a patch(levequests don't count imho), which are very basic. The game is just a huge grind with boring combat/classes and boring monsters. If you can get the game for under 10 bucks, give it a shot I guess.Otherwise don't bother, trust me, it's terrible still. |

Which MMORPG had/has the best cities and why?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 7/05/11 11:33:45 PM
WoW has great cities. All totally differant and really cool looking.I also liked EQ2's cities back when it first came out.Qeynos was really great looking back then, especially at night when it lit up.Maybe its just nostalgia. |

How is auto attack going to make this game more fun?The classes and skills are boring as hell and unoriginal and mixing diff classes skills together is useless for the most part. All that needs to be fixed before anything. It's amazing how much they need to add to this game before it's even average.Seriously, they are adding basic mmorpg features in every patch, it's pathetic. |

oblivion is good too but you need lots of mods to make it look good as its kinda old now and the npcs look terrible.if you have the patience to mod it though, it looks good enough. The story isnt good though.Great game, one of my fav, but doenst really match what you asked for.The witcher 2 is prolly your best bet.Buy it. |

Um, there quite a few.The witcher 1 and 2.Esp the second is great.Fallout 3 and new vegas are both great as well.Mass effect 1 and 2 esp 2.The witcher 2 and mass effect 2 are prolly the best on that list and both look great and have great stories. |

I would like a key please |

ignore the level 70 heroics.Level 80 heroics is where the current game is at the moment.you do not need any key or anything to do them. Also, the level 70 heroics werent that hard, at least not most of them.Maybe compared to the 80 ones, but I played then and had no problem pugging them, esp when i was healing.Anyways, no one does the 70 ones anymore as it was the old xpack that offered them. When leveling thru outlands you can do some of the regular dungeons as people group for those still while leveling, but not the level 70 ones or any heroics. |

If you like crafting a lot then you may like this game since crafting is a huge part and more involved then in WOW.However, there is no recipe book so you have to guess what mats make what or look up online. There is no AH or organized marketplace yet.The UI is laggy so it takes forever to craft. To make something you need mats from every crafting profession, so you need to level them all or try and buy mats from someone. If you mainly just like fighting, then it depends. If you expect lots of towns and camps with nps that give quests with story lines and more then generic "kill x mob quests" and lots of dungeons to group in and PVP, then you will hate this game.If you like grinding 100's of mobs in a cave to level with the occasional storyline quest every 10 levels, then you may like this game. Also, if you like grouping a lot, then you won't like this game, as it's largely a solo experience at the moment.Party xp is messed up so it's far faster soloing, and healers don't gain skill points for healing. You must be at the person to invite to group and party members don't show up on your map, only on your minimap. The chat system is annoying and there is no universal chat, so it may be hard to communicate unless you are in a linkshell. There is no LFG system in place either. |

why would game cards cost almost nothing in Korea? When people say Korea, they are talking about SOUTH Korea.South Korea is a prosperous developed country. It certainly costs more then a "wooden nickel". |
