Coming from someone who hasnt posted to many times on stratics: Judging by his/her posts its just a kid who thinks he's cool and like to talk about meaningless thing in UO right now , illegal servers posts , how to make millions in a day and how to exploit using a young character..Truly a player I would listen to..

1) How can I travel? I am on this Island Haven or what. (I played the old Ultimas, but I cant for the love of the virtues recall that city.) I have seen several boats, but I cant seem to travel, I went to the Moongate, but I didnt know any of those places, so I didnt use it. I am a Paladin btw. So, maybe someone can describe me travel, please, but please in detail. I got some general answers like "use the tithe on the book", and I had NO idea what a tithe is or what I should do with said book. As I said, I am a total noob, and nothing here is as I know it. ;)

Theres 3 main ways of travel , Walk , Horse , magic travel ( threw moongates , rune books ,which can be bought at player vendors)

2) I heard I can train skills for coin. How do I do it? I know I can use the phrase "NPC-name train ability", and he says I do it for 100 gold but I was unable to give him them gold. How is this done?

Right click on vendor , and if has a skill you can learn it will be seen as white not greyed out) , select the skill , NPC will spam how much it costs ,You take the  gold and drop it on him/npc,

3) Where can I sell loot? I didnt find any vendor, maybe Haven as starter area has none, but is there a NPC I can sell my loot for cash, and how is this made?

You can sell loot and items either from a vendor , which requires a house or renting one from a player or you can sell items at local bank , which you can get to threw moongates ( closest one is Malas city and town of Luna or you can travel using rune books that allow you to go from one place to another.

4) It seems my armor decays from use, so what NPC repairs it and how?

The best way to do this is find a vendor ( see above) in malas/luna and look for item repair deeds , they come in different types blacksmithy  ,tailor , and so on.

5) Horses, everyone tell me I need one, so where do I get one cheap starter horse?

Once again for now luna/ malas is a good place to start , once you come out of the moongate , travel north and you will see a stable, with a npc there , right click on the npc and you should see a option to buy a pet , horses cost 500-800 gold..

6) Where can I learn new skills/attacks/spells? I seem to have some skills and some spells in my book of chivalry, but where can I buy more? Since apparently there are no "levels", what is the mechanics for growing and learning new abilities?

Its based on your overall skill level , the more you use it the more you gain in skill and can use the higher up level skill/ spells , you can go to towns , and right click on npc's and learn certain skills.

This will help alot , try reading the first one , then dig into the second one , I will admit to you UO has ALOT to learn for a new player , it will take some time and some frustrating moments but it is a real fun game , What shard did you select i'm sure theres someone on that shard/server who could help you out more?

With all the changes made over the last 6 months I wonder how many players have gone back and redid there ratings , both good or bad , my guess is theres alot of people who just would like to keep this game buried , but it has come along way in the last year..

They need a reason to sell the 15th or 20th anniversary boxes...    

It's really sad they just dont listen to the players , they claim to run polls , questionaires, focus groups and state that it is not a popular request , but on the other hand most players think they cant talk about it or on UO Stratics your post gets deleted if you mention classic shards..Hmm go figure.

I dunno I think if it comes to it , what will survive UO or DOAC , both of which are part of EA Mythic. EA greed factor says they will keep them all running 3 games with x amount of players is better than 1 game.

Can those pictures be confirm as actual in game graphics? If they are wow..

Dont know how to take this could be great , but also could be bad if all the ego players get there way:

Those are run completely by players and have no relation to EA/ UO , and are considered illegal by game standards....

To be honest with you , you are better off going and finding a copy of 9th anniversary , that 14 day trial only allows you limited features of UO and unless you plan on playing ALOT of hours in that 14 days you will not enjoy it , I personally found it hard to get used to UO , but after the 2-3 week it was fun , theres alot of information to learn , but it's worth it .

Interesting that nobody mentioned UO ,  but then again with there silly attempt at graphics upgrade just may breathe another year or 2 into the game.
