Why don't we see a re-release of older games like UO, star wars, EQ, etc.
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 12/14/09 8:52:23 AM
Originally posted by Kovah85 {mod edit} World of WarCraft's graphics are inferior to EQ2s. EQ2's gameplay is complete and utter overly complex garbage, lacking so many features. True, we see the graphics vs. gameplay proven true in WOW vs. Ultima Online, but most modern MMOs that are mainstream have excellent graphics. |

Need advice about switching high schools.

dont be overly social make sure when you go there, only respond flirtatiously to the hottest girls there, and no matter how much he tries, don't befriend the kid that looks like he's going to bomb the school if you flirt with fat chicks, it will hurt your chances with all the other girls |

ignore above poster (jackass). I am excited. Thanks for the info. I'm really excited for this game. Too bad since it's Navy-based we probably won't get to shoot Iraqis :[ |

Wow this has to be the worst MMO idea I've ever heard of, since someone suggested a Schindler's List MMORPG |

Lol, frankly I don't care how simple a game is, or how difficult the leveling system is. Ultima Online had one of the simplest gameplay mechanics, simplest leveling systems and was so much more complex than FFXI. In fact, people who play FFXI should play WOW. I don't even play WOW, but why would you grind 50 hours for a shitty endgame, one of the most linear MMORPGs I've ever played (seriously, the fact that games like Fallout 3 allow better class, character and skill customization in comparison to a mainstream MMO is just sad). Woohoo, I really wanna grind for hours on end when I can't really do ANYTHING IN THAT GAME ANYWAYS. WOOHOO |

What did I say that as wrong? Obvious loot, levels and stuff like that wont transfer its the storyline choices you made. Since he played his first game on 360 obviously if he wants that option he would buy the 360 version. Unless they have this cross platform feature that lets you continue your 360 save on the pc? So i guess I was RIGHTafter all since I said nothing of items and junk? Did you read his post? You told him "yes" in reply, yet his question was about loot. Then you told him to buy the 360 version if he was concerned about that stuff, but both versions allow this. Reading comprehension takes you quite a long ways, m'friend |

TL;DR, sorry buddy that wall of text was almost a lovecraft novel itself They were going to make a supernatural MMO called priest that looked pretty dope back in the day. |

Anyone else completely nonchalant about World of WarCraft, its success or why it has more players than run-of-the-mill-Korean-fantasy?

(poll) Post-Apoc, What would you expect?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 12/02/09 1:41:43 AM
Elves, cat people... maybe some kind of hybrid of the two? Gambler as a playable class, uses alcohol in the same fashion a rogue uses energy but he has to drink to restore it, and instead of using attacks he just loses money, vomits, craps his pants, sometimes lashes out |

Originally posted by metalhead980 WRONG Correct answer: Loot, levels, etc. will not be kept. Choices made in the story will be. And the PC version will do the exact same thing as the 360. |

In a gaming rut, why don't I like these games?

Star Wars: The Old Republic races?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 8/06/09 3:17:27 PM
I can't find anything on their website about the current races available in Star Wars: The Old Republic. I can see the classes but I hear Mandalorians have already been released as a race. Where is this information being leaked, and what do we currently know is confirmed as races? |

What's The Best Free MMO That's Like WoW?
General Discussion « World of Warcraft 3/30/08 2:50:46 PM
I recently got Guild Wars to fill in those months when I couldn't play WOW, and it's pretty dreadful in comparison. I dunno, MMOs with no monthly fee generally don't have the budget to have a game that functions nearly as easily and as great as WOW. |
