Loved UO played for Years on Lake Superior.

I dont think Mythic could do a good UO2. After War and SWTOR I will avoid any and all EA MMOs like the plague.

Crimecraft was horrible beyond words - Took longer to download the client than it did for me to figure out how bad it was.

No devs (AAA or not) will ever make a perfect mmo that pleases everyone. Basically these games need to cater to the lowest common denominator to appeal to the widest possible audience or sub numbers will suffer too much to be profitable and support continued content development. Its funny, in their attempts to please everyone they end up pleasing no one

The games that don't cater to the lowest common denominator don't have the budget to make a compelling polished final product.

Interesting concept but I am not sure how much I would get along with perma death.  If you get too keep you house/building and dont have to start over completely from scratch it wouldnt be so bad.

If I get insta gibbed every time i step out of a safe zone by groups of pks then yeah I would quit playing

I didnt mind the Balmorra bonus series. Being a bit overleveled when you reach the next planet makes it a bit easier.

Ive been in beta for a while now and I will not be getting the game.

Its an ok game but not what i am looking for in a MMO. If the game didnt have a sub I might pick it up but I honestly dont see it offering enough to justify me paying for a monthly sub.

One thing I think that people do not realize is that the actual class story part of the game is only about 10% of your quest content. The remaining 90% of the quests (story) is the same for every class.

Because of this Re-rolling on the same faction can be a bit tedious.

One of the guys in my guild works for Turbine but he has not mentioned any secret games in development. (unless he is being a good Lad and keeping the secrets secret!)

Good question.  I think there will be based on the knowledge that the game will be following the timeline of the Battletech universe, so the storyline will be playing a role in it.  I know that the game also starts well before the clan invasion so none of the new tech will be available yet.  I think it's also 10 years prior to the appearance of Wolf's Dragoons.
I would expect that the Clans will appear in a major expansion and they'll be non-playable.  If that's the case, the game would likely have a lot of other NPC enemies leading up to it like pirates and rogue units.  But most likely, the game will focus on warfare between the Houses with a lot of PvP.  Five factions.  That should be interesting.

I wonder how close they will stick to the game lore / Cannon. I mean House Liao is fairly gimp (well they did start making a turn around right before the Clan invasions)

Also the Federated Commonwealth (Steiner & Davion) I wonder how they deal with that? Will Steiner and Davion be Separate houses (I am guessing that is the case)

The Clans as PVE content would be nice.

I looooove Battletech but since this game has dropped the single player campaign and it is F2P I dunno.... Constant pvp gets old after a while... I wonder if it will even have PVE?

Balance is a non issue in this gams since all skills are available to all characters, though to be honest it might lead to rampant FOTM characters. 

Nerver-the-less, I am eagerly awaiting this game.

They got the rights back but so far they are only working on mobile games. AS much as I would love a well done Shadowrun MMO I dont think there is much chance of one getting developed.
