I think its a good example of a company trying to rip off their loyal fanbase. Following in the footsteps of EA's pricing scheme for the SWTOR boxes is not a good thing.

 

If they continue down this road, with their itemshop we might be in for a sad and shattered dream.

EA has "almost" released sequel to UO TWICE just to cancel it week after beta signups appear.

Is it just me or did they basically just watch Battlestar Galactica marathon and THEN decide to write endings to the story?

Last Bioware game i'll buy.

My only complaint is that the skins look overdone. Like they have too much of everything on them...that and the fact characters faces look like made from sacks of potatoes.

But then again, thats why I preferred Oblivions graphics to skyrims...Sometimes less is more.

This game captures Nethacks addictive gameplay VERY WELL.

This game gets pedobear seal of approval.

In best sandboxes (Post-trammel UO, SWG and Eve) PvP plays big part but is easily avoidable. The vocal minority wanting game-wide FFA-pvp are the niche market of sandboxes...Ganking and PKing was possible in pre-trammel UO because prey had no place else to go, nowadays PKing simply wont happen because non-masochist prey will just stay away from game-wide ffapvp games.

Tens of thousands people still play this game like...14-15 years later because there simply isnt a game out there that can compete with it gameplay wise...the list of features and things to do in this game is massive!

It's amazing how over ten years old game can still have systems superior to modern competition

Glad I preordered NA version despite being European...I knew having to deal with Frogster is trouble.

Dont look at chat at all, just act like you're playing bot matches even when you're playing with other players.

IF you happen to look at chat, you'll witness things that make barrens chat look uber intelligent and elitist kids who suck the fun out of the game for everyone else by spending whole session spamming the chat with how you're not worthy to play with them...eventually you'll get overwhelming urge to tear those guys a new one and when you do, they'll report you and you'll get banned.

They should've just IP blocked everyone not from europe.

Now their servers got zerged by zillions of people all over the world.
